Jett crying, well some of us are more emotional than others when we don't get our own way, or get into it.

Jett also doesn't appear to be equipped with life skills yet, compared to most yougsters his age.

Also remember, most in the pits disliked any Non American rider when they arrived as a front runner, Bayle, Kenny, DV, .........

Anyway, I can't hardly wait for Saturday night.

Jett assaulted Anderson in public so I think calling him out for it in public is absolutely fair game. Jett wants to paint this PR image of being sorry when in reality he hasn't apologized at all.

I appreciate Anderson shedding some light on what is actually going on, not what Jett's PR team wants us to believe

Jason Andeson has never been one of my favorite moto people....but my stock in him just went WAY THE HELL up.

The whole thing being taken care of by handlers on Jetts side is indicative of todays generation.       Total chicken shit.

If this is the "future" of MX/SX.....you can have it.

Agree with this, his agent is not earning his fee with that post.  He should have put a bit more thought into it.  The offer ‘fan zone passes’ is a massive faux pas

looking forward to the next race to see how everyone reacts this week.  Whether he likes it or not he now has a target on his back.

Look, it’s way too easy for some of us to talk shit about the kid that’s come up thru the ranks and has absolutely kicked ass and now…appears to have shit the bed a little bit…but…damn…

How we let it evolve into all the other piling on isn’t a good look…for us.

And to reiterate, while it would’ve been better…it would’ve been over…if Jett had handled this on his own…well, that’s what Jason’s point really is…own your shit and move on. The Camp has made this much worse than it ever needed to be. That’s the other point that Jason made.

Everyone makes mistakes, it's just part of life and most people don't expect perfection from others.

What they do make character judgements on is how you handle those mistakes - if you make a mess, you clean it up.

In my experience that earns you respect.

Imagine a timeline with a 20 year old Jett feuding with a 20 year old Herlings. The drama would be off the charts lmao

I agree with most of what you say except for the part about us not welcoming the greats from other countries. It was a small percentage of fans that acted like that. Yeah maybe I rooted for my homeboy Stanton to beat Bayle but I had HUGE respect for the dudes skill. I was a big DV fan and Kenny is a moto God imho. I think Jett is unbelievably good and will likely be the guy to beat for years to come but he has to get the head games figured out. If he doesn't find his inner zen some of these guys will rattle his cage every chance they get.

I agree with Badboy and Mike137

I have enjoyed all the other riders coming here myself.  I know there are the good ol boys who like to hate on them, but I think they are a big minority.  I think it's a badge of honor for the US to have everyone come here, I'm here to watch the best.

I think the majority like the foreigners.  (we'll see what my thumbs up / down say)

It probably would have looked something like this. The young Herlings was wild at times 😆

I don't agree.

RC spent his first year of big bike SX on the ground and for the most part, kept his mouth shut.

It wasn't until the 2nd year that the disdain started.  And most of that was on his handlers for making him enter the stadium with a crown on his head...

His rookie year was spent taking his licks and learning.

Tall poppy syndrome fully engaged.

22-0 hiding from a foreign rookie really hurt some feelings in the pits.
Did Anderson ever apologise to seely those years ago?
Is it possible to focus on the racing. It’s almost like a sport to over analyse and tear everyone down. It’s really getting old.

Agree, if the Lawrence camp is paying someone for PR services they should immediately be terminated based on this shit show.

I'm pretty sure Cole mentioned on a Pulp show that Jason and him had a chat about the aggressive riding between the two because, you know, that's what men do. I don't believe it ever carried on into the 450 class because of it.

Until a foreign rider does a misstake, then the true colors of most of the fans shine through.

Remember the Ferrandis - Craig incident, that was a clear race incident.

yet Ferrandis were booed the rest of the season, called names etc.

Not even Vince get the kind of heat a foreign rider gets when a small situation happens.

I have the same feeling. Each time I see him there is something off. Not because the way he looks, but his demeanor.

Hurt feelings yes but a lot of respect until a few turning point moments where Jett can only blame himself. Saying this as a non US guy who still backs Jett

That happens in every sport around the world. The away teams and players are boo'd while the home team gets cheered. You see Roczen getting boo'd anymore?

Jett catching this heat has nothing to do with him being from down under, this all has to do with how he handled last week...Jett is one of the most popular riders as a foreigner..

That we all know were intentional, not a race incident and the next weekend all is forgotten.

Imagine if a french rider would have raced like Barcia or Anderson on a regular basis

This sounds like a certain group in the US - everyone is a racist, just give them a chance to show it - only we're subbing xenophobe for racist.

There are fanatics everywhere; it doesn't mean that's everyone

And if you want examples of truly unhinged, nationalistic fans, go ask Lackey and some of the other 500 GP contenders back in the day about having bottles (and other objects) thrown at them and fans hanging over the fences swinging sticks at them in an effort to take them out because they were beating the "local" favorite.

Sounds about equal to being booed by some people a few hundred feet away in a stadium, yes? Whistling
