He really put the brakes on Webb tonight. Happy for AP7 though. I was on the edge of my seat on the last lap.

It looked like he went far outside to slow up for Webb but the lines just kinda came together
Team orders. Chasegate.
Webb was coming hot. Think Tomac actually helped pace AP from behind or Webb would have caught him with a few minutes left.
Sexton salvaged the best of anyone for what happened to him, denied Webb points, and got his team mate a signature win. Good racecraft.
Yeah not the best view of that but chase went outside and held his line and Cooper I guess expected him to just stop? There was nothing intentional or malicious about that at all. Up to webb to get by him.

Definitely team orders, Webb is pissed but handled his interview well
I knew cooper would be pumped for Aaron, but I knew he was going to be pissed. Definitely seemed pissed. Lol
Coop chose his words well on the podium. Lots different from lil coop back on his 250 with the moose can. "I am going to put him on the ground and teach him his lesson". Definitely is more calculating now....
I was thinking possibly Chase thought it was Tomac? Who knows.
Non-story. Chase was giving way and Coop's line just happened to come together with Chase getting out of the way. 100% unintentional. Chase isn't that kind of rider. The fabricated drama about this is humorous. The Jett/Ando issue is 1000% more of a story. Would love to see what instigated that along with what was said.
I’d be super angry if I was coop. With that said it was probably an accident. That doesn’t help much.
I agree, no team order bullshit here. Chase went wide to let Cooper by and Cooper chose to go wide to get by Chase... I do want to re-watch it on video to make sure that's what happened. But the words they had afterwards might have amped it up a little.
Coop is a better racer with a chip on his shoulder. He will feed the beast inside with what it needs, and that's all that needs to be understood about this.
He was throwing his hands up at Eli after the race for holding up I do believe. He mentioned having to battle his teammate who was already a lap down, when speaking in the press conference
The last thing on earth webb is going to do is put the blame on himself. He's always looking for some slight or reason or excuse or whatever you want to call it..... chase went wide and held his line and webb didn't navigate it well. Just own it and move on. It's just silly to try to make this something more than it is. There is nothing in the rule book that says lappers have to pull over or stop racing to let you by and getting slowed down as you navigate through lappers is the norm.
Yep, I'd betcha a beer Coop was just trying to get mental with Chase because they are two of the top 3 racers in the title hunt more than likely. Chase is one of the most respectful riders on the track. I think this is Coop doing Coop mental games, which is good for the series. The actual incident was nothing at all, and I'm sure Chase knows it.
Chase did not try to block Cooper, if he was trying to block he would have done it in the next corner also. Thats like saying that last week Jett fell in front of Chase to block him. Racing lines come together.
Dude.... that's insanely off the truth. Coop is always owning up to his shit.
Hmmm let me see:
Webb blaming the Yami, yet a half retired Reed podiumed on it.
Went to KTM. Roger and Aldon say he wasn’t fit.
Blamed the KTM, yet a half retired Musquin wins on it.
Best off season ever, Roger and Aldon say he wasn’t fit.
I get paid to race, skips the Outdoors.
I feel like I’m missing some….
Pit Row
I reckon Tomac tucked in to try to gain places. Its been done before. But eventually work out Webb was there.
I was only think about Webb and Sexton coming together intentional or unintentional in terms of helping AP get a win, hadn’t even though about it in the sense of stopping Webb from getting an extra few points. Now I’m rethinking if it were unintentional or not.
When did he say that?
Agreed
It's always gonna happen to someone.
Deano holding up Kenny and Webb sneaking past a couple seasons back comes to mind.
Sort of related, sort of unrelated, when you have folks Chase and Eli's speed a lap down, it's going to be even more difficult or at least have more potential to get sketchy...
Eli looked like he was gonna pass AP back briefly, nobody's fault, AP is going as fast as he can for a win and Eli is going as fast as he can to move forward or at least keep Chase at bay.
It's a world of trouble but it's just part of the game.
Big fan of all these guys mentioned including Webb, of course he's gonna be mad at Chase and even Eli, but none of it looked deliberate.
2015
Chase will put that little bitch in place at some point this season.
Paul not forget. Paul chase (heh) down sextons and ride him high on last lap before flag. no remorse. no quarter.
Was that about Tyler Bowers?
I had this thought and JS said it on his most recent pod. Maybe Chase was more worried about Coop getting momentum from a win than protecting his teammate?
The Bowers stuffing made me an instant Webb fan.
