It's funny people think it was because of lawrences.. they literally sucked.. no one was going to be making it through.. it was the better move for racing.
The racing was already slow enough let alone having 4 guys at a time tipped over and stuck in the whoops blocking the lines. Lap times where already 90 seconds plus as it was.
Not a fan, but honestly it would have been a level 11 shit show if they left them. I think the people that do this for a living probably have the best take on it.
I think that its a good idea when its as bad as it was last night. I don't think that leaving them in would have made the racing any better.
For rider safety and the race ability of the track I think it was the right thing to do. In those conditions I don't think they could have groomed the whops without making them death traps of thick goop. Maybe getting machines stuck in them. And making boobytraps , riders not knowing which would be firm and which would be soft. Move over 6 inches to either side and You could hit a soft spot.
I doubt they would do that if the track wasn't trashed.
People were going all over, totally sketch....and in defense of Hunter, if u f up and exit the whoops how easy is it to enter back on the whoops? Wouldve been a constant yellow.
we are speaking on track changes and Decosta doesn't exist any more? hahaha
I was thinking the same thing 😂 the whoops get knocked down, a KTM wins and somehow even this is about two brothers mid pack?! What’s happening here???
In conditions that extreme, I’d be all good with a complete flat track course with flat sweepers, bowl turns and the odd ski jump. At least they may be able to actually race each other, and it sure as hell would be entertaining.

I agree, safer to go slowly and reenter like he did. I'm sure he was not the only guy that happened to.
We’re conducting a survey and would appreciate your input. Your answers will help Vital and the MX industry better understand what riders like you want. Survey results will be used to recognize top brands. Make your voice heard!
Five lucky people will be selected at random to win a Vital MX t-shirt.
They only flattened it to help their golden media darlings.
Much safer in these conditions to have flatter jumps. Makes sense to me.
The good part about making up a fake battle is you win it every time

Flattening the whoops.... How about Huntah the freaking cheater continually bypassing them and not getting docked.
Total BULLSHIT.
i am confused. was Deegan racing?
oh, maybe you meant Lawrence?
how did that work out?

Dude, you're just angry because your boy vf got the gong. Breath slowly, you'll be ok. Lol
Last couple years it was RD/KTM getting them cut down for webb, now it’s Lars/Honda getting them cut down for “golden ones”.

Doesn't EVERYONE race on the same track/ Or was there a special "Chase Only" lane?
How did moving the 5 out to keep Jett from jumping it help em out last week? Are we going to get an "overcoming the adversity" piece on it next week?
The track should be changed for mud races to make it more raceable and less about surviving
a few doubles, some tabletops/step ups and rollers
they made the right decision

Hunter skipped them! Lol
This is really a fing question? JC you people are idiots. OF COURSE YOU DO.
They shouldn't have been completely flattened. They should have made like 4 of 5 shallow rollers though.

I can't wait for your comment...
Hunta line > Thrasher line > Ando line.
Anderson started cutting the track before Thrasher or Hunter!
And again last week:
Will be interesting if they keep smaller whoops when prado won't be there next week, wouldn't surprised if they catered the track for him
Great example for the old school “re-enter the track where you left it” rule. Somehow riders were able to stay on the track way better back then!
