A basic question (have not done this since a budget-based league on MT).

You have to pick one rider designated All Star in each class; got it.  Cannot pick that same rider the next week; got it.

Putting aside strategy of trying to hit big points on high handicaps, what wasn't clear to me is whether you could pick all All Stars for your four riders (knowing you can't use any of those four the next week).  In other words, can you only pick one All Star each week?

You can pick a team with all allstars.

I listened to the pod and without paying super close attention; we don’t care about your address, your place of residence or any of that , all we care about is the location data your device ( be it phone or pc) provides us with. To me this translates to « use a vpn you dipshits ».

And pay more money for a VPN, plus dues to enter SX fantasy league, plus Peacock to watch races, plus ante for bets with buddies in league only to MAYBE win some grips.  Should I go one?

No. You should not. However, you did forget to add the fee to purchase your tissues.

Yeah, that too!

Appreciated, understand the strategy issue - budget league you cram into the budget, here you have to keep from gorging on one race to hold options open in future and for room for picks to leverage high handicap/high risk rider chances

I do not work for free either.(your Paul reference) Unless it’s elderly, family or someone in need. So I don’t ask anyone else too.

I mentioned there's other ways to maybe keep free play open and make money... with free play open I was able to join the big money league and buy tickets for the raffle.. Create a league that was 100$, change it to 120-150, take the 20-50$ a person to pay the employees. without free play for others less money coming in if you ask me.

Wrong. Without free play they’re actual saving money. The whole donation model would essentially mean they have to setup two separate games. Free play was something they didn’t want to do initially because it’s essentially the same amount of work for nothing. I think they’re just fine without the moochers.

Free play gives people like me that live in a crapy state an opportunity to playyyy… we don’t even have the option to pay to play bc of our stupid state or else we would 100% pay. It’s not about getting something for free but the FREE play let’s us in where then we spend MONEYYYY on the leagues and tickets. It’s not about getting something for free, if I wanted something for free I’d call your mom

All-stars have a "low ceiling" at 25 points per race (i.e. single points only), so that's why it's best to just select one per class (as required).

Understood; stating the extreme example to be sure I understood which way it cut.

LOL I get what you're saying but not everyone will be like you and spend money. FYI I'm in MA and have successfully got in by spoofing my GPS location.

I decided to try it for the first time, and I see no option to pay? Says championship league is free, what am I missing?

So this is strange, I am in a state that is on the naughty list but it will let me pick a team on my laptop but on my phone is says I'm not eligible.  I know this weekend is free and I assumed would just work for anywhere?  I'm on the border for Kansas so if I have to I'll drive a few miles west and make my picks the rest of the year but I don't know why its working on my laptop but not my phone.

Your browser on your laptop probably thinks you're in Kansas and your phone has more precise location.

They had some issue with their payment processor so they just made this week free for everyone. Gotta pay once the issue is fixed if you want to stay in.

I live in Finland and was looking forward to play it this year... Well, can't play it. Not their own fault I know, but bummer for sure.

There’s ways around it. Here’s a link to some different methods. I have both an iPhone and Mac computer so I used the Xcode method and it worked perfectly. It was free and took about 10 minutes to setup.

I guess I assumed it worked everywhere this weekend as they work more bugs out.  It does work on my iPad which is on the same wifi as everything else.

It looks like about 9,200 are signed up so far this year.

I guess a lot of you found VPNs.

We had to get a little more creative than that. VPNs wouldn’t work.

So sorry I was not aware he had already posted them in an 8 page thread.  You have a total of 11 posts and educating us how to use the forum? Seems about right.  Notice the guy I actually asked responded in a reasonable way, yet you responded like an asshat.

For those not living in pulp states, I built a possible excel sheet option for this year. It’s not completely done but it should work as is for a manual entry work around (appears to all work at this point).

Hoping to pull the HCPS and build a vlookup for that but all depends on the formatting of the export. (Have a friend who is in a good state that has access)

Idea is each player emails lineup before gate drop, or sends DM. That gets entered for the week. Each week will live on its own sheet.

It’s not for everyone but thought I’d share for those who aren’t in pulp states. Wanted to share before it’s “done” to give people time to put something together if they wanted.

I’m sure there are better ways to do this but I’m no pro and this is what I went with.

Any questions let me know. IMG 1797.png?VersionId=M2T3h2SPMJdX

File is complete if anyone wants it. Briefly tested a crude version of the pulp export and you can use GPT to format and vlookup to reduce manual entry.
