Well. anybody is better than Diffey(dork) the talking head who likes to tell the listeners what the riders are thinking, plus some other nonsensical bullshit and the other girl who I can't understand a word she's blathering on about- typically when something important has happening on the track. Her timing is impeccable for sure.
The whole show was set up and produced 1000% better.
In the preview show they showed a NBC sports writer. Think it was a coincidence the script was better?
Well, except for probably a 100 or so times the camera was showing exactly what wasn't important. Especially showing the finisher of the last chance qualifier while Hunter was outside of qualifying and there was still a lot of racing left for him to the finish line. Fortunately he tried to make the move in the last turn and hadn't gotten passed ? a a turn or two earlier. The producer has no clue even after 15 years as to what is important on the track.
If you can't understand a woman speaking English, maybe try the Spanish broadcast next time?

I'm a big fan of Weege! He's a rare case of someone who always has something to say- and it's intelligent and worth the listen. Great ambassador for the sport.
2008 SF supercross, I had a broken foot and the guy gave me his seat in the press box. He stood the whole night show. Just an all-round good dude.

Was watching with some friends and said the same thing the whole show looked 10x better and more professional, the desk setup they had and the camera angles and quality looked so much better as far as the non racing filming goes.
I’ve worked with Weege at an event before and he is as professional and knowledgeable as one can get… and it wasn’t even a moto event! He is a true fan of the sport with the knowledge, passion, and a vocabulary to go along with it. I’m so stoked he finally landed the SX gig… much deserved!
They need to do this every week. It's perfect for the second hour of the night show when there are only two LCQs. Like halftime at a football game.
I agree. It gave the broadcast a more professional look. They played well off each other, like they'd been doing it for a long time.
