I remember when Fresh Dirt was just a column on Whip It! Crazy to think about how hard it was to find information about our favorite sport back then. Easy to take for granted now.

I discovered it in 1995 while working at Dell in Austin. I just had dial-up in my apartment, but we had, I believe ISDN at work, so you could browse a *little* quicker. Still remember the day I first ran across it and thinking how damn cool is this!

Windows 3.1 days! I was running an ISDN in the early days. Graduated to DSL before anyone had really ever heard of it.

I used to run a Whip It! sticker (1 of 1) on my back window. I had people rolling down the window asking, "Is that YOU?!", from time to time.
