It takes a long time to feel normal after coming off gnarly drugs, like close to 2 years.

Did you see him interview when he was on whatever he was taking? His face looked like a skeleton with his eyes bulging out. To see his face full shows he is straight right now. But anyone that was in that deep will always be switched out.

You'll give him the benefit of the doubt but you just said you wouldn't be surprised if he's batting some demons. It's no wonder the dude goes into hiding. He hasn't had any run ins with law enforcement in over a decade but he'll always be a POS to most of you

Does anybody actually know what "hard drugs" he was actually on? I keep reading this but nobody seems to actually mention what he was doing

 And I am/was a fan of J-Law.

I don't wish no bad things on anybody, just don't see how he can sustain his future.

Hate the fucking kid. But has so much talent and honestly loves to ride a dirt bike more than anyone I’ve ever met. And Scott always was only one call away for money and really helped him out. But jay is a piece of shit and takes advantage of anyone and everyone he can just trying to get by. Idk his financial situation but I know he is kinda like me and could just live in his rv for the rest of his life around no one and enjoy his bike and shred everyday. Still a piece of shit but just is Moto to the core. More talent than he knows what to do with but an absolute piece of shit.

Like when he donated to chandler when things were good, or how he gave Nick wey and Langston and hamblin a ride when things were good

Could be substance clean but brain/mental health is toast. I’m sorry to mention real life issues about your idol.

Abstinence is not necessarily sobriety. Abstinence is simply not using a substance. Sobriety is living life on life’s terms without having to rely on substances.

Believe me…I know.

It’s called PAWS. Post acute withdrawal syndrome. And it’s very real. Some days can feel like detoxing on days 1-3. The gnarliest drug is alcohol though. Well, or Benzo’s. Because those two are the only drugs where you can’t quit cold turkey and if you do, the detox can kill you. Look up DT’s. The “hard” drugs are not lethal when detoxing.

Carry on.

Sobriety is sustained abstinence so that's like 6 in one hand and half dozen in the other

You can be abstinent the rest of your life and still behave like nothing but a “sober addict” with just as many issues as you had before, if not more, unless you learn new skills to face life on life’s terms without having to soften things by using or drinking. There are many who have been able to quit using…but their lives and behavior is just as jacked up because all they have done is removed the substance they were addicted to.

He’s right. The substance is the remedy. Abstinence does not remove the obsession of the mind but sobriety does. If you know you know.

Never liked him actually.  Dungey is my all time favorite so that should tell you something. It's the wild speculation I don't agree with. You could very well be spot on and I'm just naive

Yeah with alcoholics there's a term "dry drunk." You're sober but still acting like an asshole. That's where 12 step programs come in to deal with behaviors

Not everyone stays "Switched out".  But to get back to normal takes time, more for some than others.  I have plenty of examples in my circle.

As for J-Law, he seems about the same as he did back in the day, except calmer, and more respectful to his competitors.

Not speaking to you personally, but it's very annoying seeing a lot of people dumping on someone who's trying to pick himself up by the bootstraps.

I usually root for the underdog, and appreciate when anyone attempts to move forward in life, or beats the odds.  I thought we all did.

Sobriety is sobriety, abstinence is sobriety. Maybe living life on life’s terms is recovery?

Some people just never figure out life. Unfortunately for JLaw he is one of those people.

Per JLaw's instagram story, "Those rumors are false."

In response to someone telling him there are rumors that he's not racing AX.

I noticed that as well. The first thing that came to mind was not drugs but that he is possibly on the spectrum with autism. It is very difficult for someone with autism to maintain eye contact. Even if it's very mild. It could also explain some of his erratic decisions and behavior that everyone is assuming is caused by drugs. Just my two cents.

Saw that but he clearly isn’t at Clubmx and he didn’t say he was still with Phoenix. Those guys over there should have squashed this by now. The rumor I heard is he had another offer but I can’t imagine anyone being that careless with their money?

So he’s out at PHX Honda and looking for a ride? Is that what the tea leaves are saying?

According to Johnny Hopper he's still in? Maybe he just wanted out of the ClubMX limelight?

I did and that doesn’t look like the kind of post a guy who is still at PHX Honda would put up?
