How to Hijack a Quarter of a Million Dollars in Rare Japanese Kit Kats

This has a French Connection feel to it. Where is DV?

They have insane Kit Kat flavors in Japan (matcha, orange, strawberry, lemon, etc)

I had to use google lens to translate a lot during my last trip there and got some “interesting” results.

I had some Japanese kit kits once the Wasabi flavor ones. They have a bunch of different flavors. 100 different flavors not exactly the same as a u.s. kit kat.

Kit kats outside of the u.s. are made under license by netsle Cadbury. Not Hersey so they have a more smoother milky chocolate sweeter taste. Where Hersey chocolate is lik more chalky bitter tasting. I've had Canadian and German also. The German one's had a lil bit of almond butter in the wafer very good.

Kit Kats are historically linked to JMB, rather than DV...

Wow...your a regular Kit Kat connoisseur Tongue

I once ate some Mexican Mike N' Ikes and I woke up later in the hospital. Damn street vendors.

Our Walmart had 5 or 6 different flavors the other day.

"Kit Kat Chunky"...that would make a good stage name for the heavy one at the strip club...

I used to like to snack on Pocky. Simple little flavor treat.

He's invited for the 40 years of the Paris Supercross.

He has the most wins over there.

It's a silly translation, but it's just dark chocolate.

Speaking of chocolate bars, apparently Coffee Crisp are not available in the US. Any truth to that?

If that's true that's another thing you guys are missing out on.

I've never heard of it, so I don't think it is. Might be Canada only, because I've never seen it in Japan either.

They’re not. I used to live over the boarder from Niagara Falls Canada and the old man would grab cases and sell them at his bar.

I work for a European food vendor and deliver those everyday. My company only works in SE Florida though so not sure on the availability in other states. Lion bars are the shit. We should be getting Tim Tams back for the first time in years here in a week or two.

Coffee Crisps are around the US, you never know where you'll find them. I've been enjoying them since the '60s.

I do not have a sweet tooth at all.  I had no idea there were so many variants of candy bars the world over.....  Seriously, I NEVER eat any of those things.  Now, Chips?  Add some salsa and I am set for days......

Ive grown accustom to Japanese chocolates... so Tim Tams seem really sweet now.

(I'd still eat a whole pack in one go though)

We're screwed for the commonwealth chocolates, in part because the Nestle US division.

Just came back from BC with a stash of real Cadbury's because it is formulated differently here and the imports are not available to distributers and you do small shops to squirrel it in.

US chocolates are junk except for some of the small custom shops. Give me good Swiss or French any day.

In the US, here's my go-to: https://gingerelizabeth.com/   My wife never complains when she gets them.
