I had good memories of Ralph and Jeff from their AMA SX days and never really got why they took so much crap.
But their work on WSX was TERRIBLE.
In their defense, as we saw in Abu Dhabi, no one really ever knows what's going on on or off track in WSX.
One very strong reason for removing Ralph is the fact he's the worse supercross announcer of all time - and as we all know he has some stiff competition.
The guy made the sport sound like a circus. Ralph should be banned from going anywhere near any form of motorsport.

Like him or not...Ralph has made a freaking BOATLOAD of money announcing various forms of motorsports over the years. What have you done lately?
I miss Ralph....including all his little pho-pahs and quirks. He'll always be one of the all-time voices of SX to me.
I wouldn't mind having Ralph and Fro back on the SX broadcast.
Ralph WAS Supercross for a long time. Can’t say I was never excited when I heard his voice open A1 every season.
I'd take Ralph over Diffey any fuckin' day of the week

Diffey is way better while also working on other stuff at the same time. You guys are just only focused on his accent as always. When they swapped out Ralph for Diffey a couple years ago the difference was huge. Diffey over Ralph and Todd Harris any day.
I love having Jeff and Ralph on the US broadcast but they didn’t adapt to the international part of the wsx races.
you can’t just say someone is from. “Phoenix ,Arizona” when you’re at a world championship event in England whilst saying another rider is from Australia. You simply say he is from the USA. It just sounded soooo wrong when they commentated the same way they would a US national event but you can’t just assume someone knows what country that city is in. There’s no way on Earth I would say I’m from Rotorua, Bay of Plenty and expect people to just know where that is.
I couldn't disagree more. Ralph had a good voice but it was impossible to make it through any broadcast with him without cringing hard

Broc glover impressed me with his speaking skills at the couple of supercrosses he did.....right up there with Bailey with thoughtful insight....
The best thing of the broadcast last week was Malin and GH. I thought they did the best with what the had.
Weege crushes Ralph and Diffey....it's not even close. RC's analysis stinks worse than a freshly removed buttplug and he should be announcing fair races in Iowa to practice or just quit. Weege and Stew alternating with Brayton would be the dream team currently. I liked Daniel Blair on the floor too, but he is onto other things.

If Diffey was American they’d love him. He’s professional, has a moto background and both RC and James are better when Leigh’s on the call. But some just can’t get past the accent, even though he doesn’t sound Aussie to me anymore.

That may be true for some but not in my case . I have no problem with his accent or that he's not American. I just think he's a bit over the top and I don't really like his style. Ralph is over the top also . I get they're trying to convey excitement but there needs to be a balance . Paul Malin is a good example of that balance. He's the best right now in my opinion. Between Shaheen and Diffey I'd rather hear Shaheen . Probably because of familiarity.
100% agree. I understand the fan aspect of the announcers getting into an exciting race, but when it gets to spastic yelling it sounds like pro wrestling. Malin holds his composure well.
I think Diffey does a great job, I have no issue with anyone's accent.
People say that's why Screeech Will Christien isn't liked (accent)....but she's just horrible at commentating.
Kristin Beat was good, glad she's still involved with WSX, AFT and some arenacross series.
