I am comparing prices to the manufacturers like Honda ($3500) and Husq ($4900)

But a omeone sent me a link of a company in Orange County, CA that had eBox style bikes for $3,900. Of course I can’t find it right now. When I do find it I’ll post.
Picked up an immaculate crf100 a couple years ago. It’s bone stock except for a folding shifter. It purrs like a kitten!
I’m seriously considering getting an aftermarket exhaust, and some stiffer suspension for it though. And maybe some graphics to match my YZ.
Kx 112 chassis with a klx 140 motor would be the ultimate pit bike. heck even the 140 engine crammed into an older kx 125 steel chassis would be enough to satisfy 90% of the weekend warriors.

I bought a new ycf bigy Daytona 190. Received and assembled yesterday. We’ll see tomorrow how it does. So far it’s needed ALOT of pre deliver inspection so to speak. Assembly plus fixing what the factory didn’t do well. However, I have high hopes for the bike itself.
I really like this. I'd love to build one.
What exhaust did you use and how much did you have to modify it?
The way I looked at it when I bought my YFC was like when I started racing back in 1976. The bike will need to be gone over and change and fix lots of little things. The biggest thing I found was the hardware was inferior so I have replaced most all nuts and bolts and put in stiffer fork springs from a KLX. Its been great so far and I will buy a Daytona 190 in the future.
My newest pitbike a 1978 XR 75 . The J&B replica exhaust will be here this week from XRmini racer and then it will be almost done except for the gold rims and new spokes.
Did some updates, may have putit put of the pitbike catagory. Emig custom clamps, complete crf150r frontend, extended swingarm, 19x16 wheelset
yeah, its a blast to ride
.
The bomb moto bikes are really good for the price. The new 24 is a big upgrade over the 23

Just finished putting this 83 RM together. I plan to bomb around the Unadilla Rewind pits with it next year. Matches my other Full Floater big brothers.
I always preferred KLX 110L’s. They are fairly good once jetted in the stock class but NEED the BBR shift drum to eliminate false neutral.
I recently bought a 190 Daytona and what a hunk that thing was. The motor is great, everything surrounding it is chinese junk. A KLX with a 178 kit is a way better bike if you are into the open class.
And yes I’m aware KLX and CRF’s are not made in Japan. But they don’t lack quality control like YCF, Piranha, Pitster pro… etc
That looks great! what swing arm did you use ? I am going to do a complete fork/front end swap on mine also.
I spent 4 years building this then broke my ankle before I got to ride it and had to wait another year. I’ve put a few hours on it now. So much fun. I also have a Kitaco DOHC BBR Super Pro CRF50 build in the works.

I used the swingarm for the bigy sm190, had to wait ah while for it to come in, may have to call wholesale-cycle.com and see status. For the front end swap the issues i had was the triple clamp, Emig was the only one willing and making a decent clamp, forwarned $$$$.
That thing is beautiful!

This right here
I hate to be so blatantly unoriginal, but I think I want to copy exactly, precisely, what you did.
With apologies.
1981 XR100
1996 Z-50
Road my XR for the first time yesterday when the J&B replica got here from http://xrminiracer.com sounds badass and runs really well for the shakedown run. Clutch is slipping so ordered a new barnett set up. I really like the 5 speed and the suspension works surprisingly well for a set of cheap amazon.com shocks.
That looks like too much fun
and lots of skinned elbows and knees and laughs after it done.
I purchased an Apollo RFZ125cc a few months back for my granddaughter/daughter to play around on. Never been keen about buying anything Chinese dirt but was cheap enough to get them on 2 wheels. If they like riding which they already do I'll go legit next. Hard to believe what you get for the money...cheap of course but still....
Crf100 just put pegs, shifter, springs, cradle, chain guide, and xr50 bend tall bars on it. So much better now.
I’m having trouble with my KLX110L on down shifting. Goes into neutral. Any fix for this?
Klx110l is great for a stock machine. Far superior to the other 110s. Imo.
