i loved Baylands back in the day, I raced my 50 back in about 78, and was in the 80’s classes in 1980-1986, then in 87 was on a 125, also liked going to PAL in Santa Clara

I agree. I have that mag to this day.Larry Brooks. The 83 rm80. First bike I paid for with my own money. Slinging hash on the 7eleven corner.

1989: I started racing 80s at then end of 1988 on a '89 RM80. Everything broke on that bike. Gear box, frame, clutch etc... My dad sold them and we bought Kawis. I bought bikes then haha


Early 1989 on JMB's private track. JMB was starting to ride again after a wrist injury. That's a saturday or sunday in March. On the right, it's Sorby.
This is so cool. Haven't seen DV12 on here lately.

This thread is freaking awesome. Wanted to be a mini racer so bad during the late 70’s early 80’s era. Wanted to be like Eddie Hicks or Mouse McCoy on the cover of magazines. Bradshaw’s 80cc style was so clean. Hell his whole career and even now is so clean. Thanks for the trip down dream road. Love seeing all the big names that ripped 80’s in the 80’s. Awesome era.
