I can’t wait to watch the pros put together the same rhythms as kids on people 50s. I am a fan of this SMX thing though.
Too many jumps, too flat, too tight, one lined…
JFC guys you could be watching college football or some shit but we now have three more rounds of racing. Get real
So if it rained multiple days then just flat tracking in the wet grass?
How many are they taking from 250 lcq now??
7?

Well Forkner was not happy with last weekends track, he said it was one lined and in his recent Vlog (where he explains his knee) he said 'this weekend looks even worse, incredibly one-lined'.
I'm in camp Forkner, what a cr*p track it was and this weekend, we'll see... Edit: who am I to say if it's good or bad, but as a viewer I want to see many passing opportunities. I'm very much afraid of that it's hard to come from behind to the top.
Weege said in his show, they were waiting till today to make it rough. They didn't want to rip it deep in case of rain, so think loretta lynns type chop.
They also couldn't build some of the extra jumps because the base was so wet when they arrived, so they decided to do more natural, deep, choppy conditions instead.
Stay tuned..lol. May get interesting!
How long till we see 2 stage suspension like mtb lockouts? Kreft has the plush tank deal, but if we see more of these smx races, you know the industry is going to adapt with a suspension map switch.
This weeks Chicagoland track is basically an outdoor style with little to no Supercross flare.
At Charlottes SX/MX combo the front suspension was extremely complex and riders had to choose between handling or bottoming hard all over the track. The finish line kicker jump was a full bottoming kicker riders were mentioning to me.
someone had mentioned that they think LA was going to be full on SX and that is starting to make sense with round 1 being a mix round 2 outdoors and round 3 SX.
I cannot understand the complaining about the track when all we have seen is the first few laps. It looks badass to me with a grass start and deep sections, crosses the Nascar track etc etc. All three of these races will be distinctly different and it was badass hearing the riders complaining about searching for setup last week. If this one has no obstacles to separate the riders it will shake up the standings even more.
Me either....They did it last week and will do it next....and they are the first ones to say how great the racing was...🤷♂️
The series is crushing it this year, but never good enough. I'd love to see their "perfect" track.
To be fair, that thing was blasting right across his motorhome.
Yeah it seemed very obnoxiously loud on his IG story I totally get it
And current 250 b champ that lives on the s side. The 1st privateer Mx team TUF, DGY, Marty Moates team that won Carlsbad 500 gp. Chicago is easily the biggest motor sports town fast cars & bikes r very popular. Chicago claims they had the 1st auto race in the world but it was in Wi. Nascar raced threw the streets downtown this yr. Surprised no one mentioned it. Because that’s crazy. I see more dirt bikes in iL. Than any state. In Chicago land I saw a open car trl with 13 bikes covered in mud . Kids sitting on each other’s lap in a old crew cab.
They added a small wall in the rollers to slow guys down. Smart move.
Looks fun as hell, but one lined af. Looks like an amateur level track to me.
As a person here in the stands it looks badass! If they had amateur day on Sunday they would literally be printing money. DC you guys are in the heart of the Midwest it would bring riders from alllllllllllllll over!
