It appears Tom is training with Kenny and chase and has left the baker facility. I heard a rumor someone was leaving the facility(can’t remember where), but it appears it was Vialle leaving. Surprised he was able to pull that off.
anyone have any info or thoughts?
It had been floating in the air for a while now.
In the AC interview on Gypsy Tales he mentioned Aldon told Christian Craig to stop the podcast it was a distraction. Motocross industry is so weird.
In the words of DV- Eat Supercross, Sleep Supercross, Sh*t Supercross, F* Supercross.

There's something very sketchy with Aldon. The guy is a fitness trainer, not a riding coach. No idea why he thinks he knows more about moto than the guys he's fitness training. Its always been a mystery to me. No way I could deal with how it appears he runs things or diets he puts his riders on.
It seems he tries to treat each rider exactly the same .
Vialle knows how to train by now to get what he needs out of his body. It’s not like he’s a rookie.
The Baker method works for some some guys and not for others.
If I were given the chance I'd sure as hell choose to train with Kenny and Chase.
I wonder if that means Chase will not be going to Baker?
He's not.
I think it was Deano who mentioned that Baker's method is very you do this, like get your motos in and that's it. Whereas others need to work on sections, Baker's isn't like that. I think he mentioned Jalek for example could have benefitted by getting more 1 on 1 in the whoops vs just doing full motos. So maybe Vialle needed more section-type training.
I mean, personally - especially him being a 250 guy - I wouldn't train with "Baker". That being said, I have respect for the man, never had a negative conversation with him, etc.
It is worth noting, in addition to exclusivity of Training (both on & off-track; which really means being relegated to Brownie's direction for both [if you are a 250 & below guy]), they have to pay the 'Baker Factory" rate from their salary - KTM Group isn't covering that fee (at least in the examples I can speak-to first hand), which genuinely, I don't understand - but that's a whole other conversation.
To that, I can say that for the price for Bakers Factory you could get a LOT better of an Off-Track (cannot stress that part enough, on-track Brownie would be my first choice haha, but I am referring to off-track) Trainer.
Obviously only the people there know what goes down, but appears he is a one size fits all type and that just don’t work for a lot of people. Some people can train and train without issue, some need more recovery between sessions etc.
My mind always goes straight to this when I hear Aldon's name now...
DV ? 😂
i got blocked by moto memes for saying “this page is becoming a Jett fan page” 🤦♂️
Only if he can teach Chase to not push the front end
/sarcasm
Chase's fitness seems to be world class now. He had a problem at WW Ranch a few years ago but I think he's solid now.
I've seen at least three jokes he's straight up stolen from Vital despite their Vital insults (which are funny, fair cop)... twice in real-time throughout the bench racing threads on here, someone says something obscure and a super uncommon take, and boom ten minutes later it's on Moto Memes.
Still if I ever do share one, I'll always leave their watermark there, as we should.
They do have some funny memes, and a lot of lame ones, but it's pretty damn weak banning folks for simply voicing an opinion... Kinda overly sensitive for someone making memes all day 😂
Pit Row
what, no i hadn't heard that
So how is making a podcast about Supercross, when you have to rest from hours and hours of training, not eat, sleep, etc Supercross?
Pretty sketchy of KTM to require riders to train with a guy but make the riders pay for it. If they are going to require it they should be paying….Aldon seems to have lost some of his luster and could see him fading away the next 5 years
Guessing here. But I bet they get paid xtra for the bakers fee. Then use it as a write off.
If that’s the case that’s fine, but then why not KTM just pay him and say we are sending “x” number of people to train with you?
I, 100% thought this was the case. KTM paid everything.
Probably works out for the riders to get the money upfront and pay themselves. Can use it as a tax write off.
And Ian and Roger get a cut back from Baker.
With all due respect, you are incorrect.
I’m sure Aldon is great, but I feel like I could have taken Ricky, James, and Ryan to championships as well. Not because I’m a great trainer (I’m not one at all).
My impression has always been that he was on the front end of bringing focused and rigorous training to the sport so in the early days there was some value to it. Now there's a ton of options to get good training and many of them seem to have passed him by. Like every sport, training is going to keep shifting towards rider well being and happiness and away from drill sergeant my way or the highway type of trainers.
The aldon baker program only works for certain guys. Thats been proven time and time again. Lately its been more guys not gelling with then sucessful.
