Of those of you who purchased a bike and received a bike when did you get it vs when did you pay for it?  I paid back in June and still have yet to receive the bike.   Just wondering what others have experienced.

Haven’t paid for mine yet. Estimated delivery date still shows Sept 30. Probably not gonna happen.

I ordered mine a few days after they put out the press release. A few years ago I think

@TahoeVetMX What does your estimated delivery date show?  Mine shows September 30th.  I paid a couple of weeks ago in hopes in would speed up the delivery.

I paid in June and it said end of July.  Now it says Aug.  However, I have not heard anything.   They just delivered a bunch of bikes to shops though so I am guessing they are trying to get demo bikes out to the shops first even though the shops did not order them before the early customers.

Are they paying you interest on the money they’ve “borrowed” from you?  Seems smart on their part to use customers’ payments to keep things going rather than borrowing money from the banks, especially now that business loans aren’t cheap at the moment.  A SBA loan currently ranges from 11.5 to 15%!

C'mon, why would they pay anything, you get the privilege of being the owner of the best MX bike in the world, and some day, you might even get to ride it!

Kind of a full on piss off, they have them on dealer floors now. But meanwhile, some of us put deposits down and have been waiting for like 2 years. Seems like they should fill the orders first!

Have You asked them for an update?  Or are You just waiting and wondering?   It would be nice if some people with orders in or that got bikes already would post to help answer Your question and show others what to expect.

Yes, and I got the brush off.  Just saying there are delays of course.  No other details.  Just wondering if others have gone through the same issues.   To be clear yes, I paid in full because they contacted me in June telling me my bike is ready and that I needed to pay to get it delivered.

They’re a few weeks back from the last I was told, my delivery date is in theory tomorrow but they said it will likely be mid-late September.  People are getting them though, and the bikes you’re seeing at dealers are demo bikes not for sale.

Did you pay for your bike yet?

Can people who have received their bikes post the VIN number, or approximate VIN number, so we know how many have been delivered, there are 18,000 buyers waiting!

Stark is in EU and loan rates are not any higher than normal.

Ummm....totally wrong.

Here's Spain, a moment on Google will show a similar picture in Sweden and all other European countries. spain-interest-rate.png?VersionId=L9vl6RKrylCrQjEyk6sObuqgL5yW2dI

While not nearly as high as the US, a simple Google search took me to this chart.  I’ll just leave this here to demonstrate that you don’t know what you’re talking about.  You’re welcome.

You’re going back 40 years here (prior to the formation of the EU, and way before Stark Varg was even an idea).  The interest rates that US businesses and consumers are complaining about now pale in comparison to what was being paid in the 80s.  During the time that Stark has existed as a company, interest rates in Spain and the rest of the EU have increased significantly and have made it far more expensive for a start-up company to continue to burn cash.  For this reason, I’m sure Stark Varg appreciates the interest free money being deposited in their bank account by customers that are paying in full for their bikes without a scheduled delivery date.

The low interest rates from 2015 are abnormal, there were never sustainable, any business should be aware of that.

I agree that they should have been aware, but were they?  I certainly don’t know, but I do find it a little concerning that customers wired payments to Europe 3 months ago on the promise that their bikes were ready to ship and they haven’t shipped.

The guy that I was originally replying to stated that the interest rates are not higher than normal.  In the time that Stark Varg has existed as a company, interest rates in the EU are dramatically higher now than they have ever been.

Well I hope that some other people who have bikes that have been delivered recently can post and help in some way.  Thanks' for making it extra clear that You  were asked to pay ,and paid in full. Hope you get some answers soon .  A customer of mine was supposed to get his in August the last time I talked to him. But he had not paid in full yet or gotten the request . I last heard from him in June. If I hear anything from him, and he doesn't mind me sharing what I hear, I'll come back and post what he says.

Customer deliveries are a concern, that has been the biggest complain over the last year, I would like to know how many have actually been delivered.

How many of the 18k pre-orders have decided to pull the plug and opted out?

I actually thought about this a few days ago. I saw a video of a demo ride with a few different Stark's. Seems like they have put a huge effort into getting "press" bikes out to drum up interest while people wait for theirs they ordered a long ass time ago lmao.

Seems to me the best way to drum more interest is get the actual bikes into peoples hands and out on the track. Nothing gets more interest then going to your local track and seeing the thing in the flesh out there in the hands of an actual consumer.
