No, standings updated and he is in 31th. He needed 4 points to get past Mcadoo after Moto 1 and he gained zero while Bennick and Robertson gained points both motos. He's out.

Correct. I was worried AF wouldn’t get in but pumped he is.

I don’t think it works that way.  My understanding is that if riders in the top 20 are out they just take more from the LCQ.  If you are outside the top 30 there’s no second chances.

Makes more sense this way. Otherwise everyone from 31 downwards has to stay ready, make travel plans etc just in case someone in the top 30 gets hurt or decides not to race

But they're going to make sure they have at least 10 people in the LCQ, according to Matthes/Weege. Otherwise they may wind up only having 4-5 people on the gate due to injuries and they are all automatically getting in, making it pointless.

Yeah pretty sure anyone outside the top 30th is out. That's what the rules say:

Additionally, any racer outside the top 30 in combined points who won a Supercross Main Event or Pro Motocross Overall will also be eligible to compete in the LCQ race for the 21st and 22nd position. All racers outside the top 20 in combined points will begin the playoff rounds with zero points.

No mentioning of people automatically getting a free spot in the LCQ if someone inside the top 30th doesn't line up.

Guess we have to wait for official clarification.

Maybe, don’t know how they are going to account for attrition.

Perhaps with all the big money the promoters are ok if the field gets depleted to the point where they are paying out less.

Who knows.  This production team never ceases to disappoint.  Maybe mention what happened to the best privateer that is mixing it up with the factory boys. Probably bike issue with no time/parts to fix? Injured at the end of qualifying maybe?

Just heard he had appendicitis in the hospital. Get well soon buddy you made my season.

That is correct about the top 20 but I think if there are any riders that are out from 21-30 they will bring in more riders to make the LCQ 10 riders.

That's what I heard Weege saying a couple times already this year, around 2:25
"If you're not in the top 30th, you don't have a chance to race for the money"

Yea but there has been talk in the past week about always filling up the LCQ with 10 riders. As of right now, if they only allowed the top 30 to enter, the 250 LCQ would be 7 riders and 4 would transfer into the mains. So I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Yeah, would have been cool if they gave out more info, sucks if riders you like are outside the top 30th and we don't know what the fuck is going on Laughing

Most didn't agree but riding with that scenery is pretty cool, no matter. who you are! Heading to Cloudcroft Monday for some single track and a little time on the 1250RT! Safe travels!

weege is such a blow hard anymore. thank god for James to keep us informed as to what's happening on the track

What are you even going on about?  Weege is the best person in the booth.  RC is absolutely terrible and while JS isn't the best, he is entertaining and occasionally insightful.  We'll see if he gets better.  But RC has had several years and still constantly stumbles over his words.  It's time for him to go.

let's see any of these guys go back in time on an 1988 CR250 and see how they do without the luxury of knowledge bestowed upon them from the pioneers. same thing. don't think Ward or RJ would win? trust me, they would.

what is now, is now.

omg…see if you can borrow someone’s sense of humor for a bit.

Well the Lawrence bro’s double championship feat even made the nightly news here in Australia on free to air tv.
International MX probably hasn’t made the news here since Reedy 2009. Good to see.

The same way they missed the incredible racing in the top 10 the first moto. We got to watch Hunter move through the pack as the other riders shit the bed for him.

Yeah it seems from some of the commentary yesterday that they might take additional riders if injuries etc reduce the numbers.

The start of 450 moto 2 was something I can't comprehend; 18 and 21 jumped early and had to stop and restart and all the other riders who started clean were 1-2 bike links ahead. Nobody to the left of 18 moved over to the right and shut him down and instead they left it wide open for Jett to almost get another holeshot . . . Felt like I was watching wrestling and it was scripted,

Go watch the replay again.  Nobody to the left of Jett had more than about a wheel or half a bike on him.Start Ironman M2.jpg?VersionId=te20coqjBxrXZG5S1lh.VeQ9

Since the initial mention in the news, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by just how many times they have made other tv news, sports and current affairs shows like that here in Australia. Good to see.
