Using the web is a pain in the ass for me at least. I have to cast it from my phone & when someone rings me it cuts the broadcast off, if I try to pause again it will cut it off. I’m using an iPhone with Apple TV.
If I wanna watch the pro motocross on the app it’s so much easier, granted though I don’t watch it live because of time difference. I feel an app would be a lot easier, all the stuff I watch on tv are via an app, why can’t this be any different?
So I asked around...
The old truck + awning is around 200sqm
The new fishbowls are 70sqm. So the new Team HRC setup actually takes up about half of what it used to... So let's stop with this space as a reason to hate them.
What Garaboldi carries for two riders is more then rediculous and causes space issues in multiple paddocks. They have 3 fishboles lined up in a row and behind them ie a big semi, tents and lorry’s. Per fishbowl they take 140sqm of space at minimum, so a total or 420sqm for only two riders. I like the fact it is getting more and more professional but this is just stupid.

Team HRC Old Setup:
Truck+Awning = 200sqm
Truck+Awnning = 200sqm
Hospitality = 100sqm
Total = 500sqm
Team HRC New Setup:
Bike Fishbowl = 70sqm
Hospitality fishbowl = 70sqm
Truck behind bike fishbowl = 70sqm
Occasional VIP lounge fishbowl = 70sqm
Total = 280sqm (most rounds only 210sqm)
So the above photo actually has Tim Gajser's camper behind the hospitality unit and notice how Team 114 can fit next to the fishbowls... where as in the 2018 photo, HRC take up the whole space.
Hopefully, even if maths confuses you, visual photos like this will show you just how wrong you are

Too much space for 2-rider team.
For me this is a much bigger problem. Those bloody high advertisement boards, mostly combined with high heras fences. About the trucks I really don't care. It isn't that the riders are still living in their teams truck like, back in the '90s, you could just walk to a team truck where most riders stayed for the day and talk with them.
Febvre would have helped his case if he had turned into a winning machine before Prado had a 5000 point lead in this championship.
He missed a race because of a concussion. He’s been winning consistently since. Can’t ask much more than that.
In this past post-race interview, Febvre was asked if he was glad to have his deal signed and he replied that he couldn’t talk about it. His answer surprised the interviewer as if he thought it was a done deal and everyone knew about it. Anyone know the deal?

I have to disagree on a few points. First of all about the tv topic about mxgp is hard to find how to watch. Infront has really worked hard to get new boardcasters and tv corporations around the world to work with them.
like for example Eurosport. Most of the races is live on Eurosport 2 and all races are live on discovery+ which is Eurosport’s own app and it’s live there without any advertising break. And if you just want to watch mxgp/mx2 that’s a cheap solution compare to mxgp.
no matter how you want to watch mxgptv/discovery+ you can literally watch it wherever whenever you want.
why doesn’t ama try to get more of their racing on European tv networks instead of us only? In this case Infront does a great job. It’s also live on national tv in Netherlands and other European countries nowadays.
however last weeks GP in Arnhem was freakin awesome! So great racing in both classes especially the second races like mxgp race two with 1.8 sec between top 3 at the end. So mxgp isn’t just bad and trash there is good things also. People have been saying it’s going to die for number of years and it hasn’t happen yet.
pro motocross is great too! But it’s not miles ahead of mxgp. But sometimes it feels like people don’t want mxgp to be good and they find every reason to why it’s bad even when it has been a fantastic GP like last week in the Netherlands. And it feels like people no matter what want to find a way to blame Infront for something always, no matter what just to justify nationals as a better series even if Mxgp sometimes beats it by far.

My mate was at the race and said it was fucking shocking, half the track was out of bounds, and half the other half had a restricted view.
Imagine going to a football match where you can only see one half of the pitch .
What was great was seeing a few places at Arnhem where the fans could hang over the fence , but that would almost certainly have been because they ran out of fences.
I have no problem with tracks that have poor natural viewing, but fucking huge boards is just a 'fuck you ' to the paying public.
Seeing fans hanging over the fence was awesome to see in Arnhem. Would be interesting to hear what the riders thought of it as well.
I was at the gp and it was great but the viewing at the track could be better. I get the safety fences and all but access to the stands/seated tribune should not cost 10 euros extra when having payed a 85eu ticket price already. Felt a bit greedy and lame

Don’t complain about the cost, you guys are lucky.
it was free parking ( 3km away) only 10 for the grandstands, in the USA they would have charged 20 to park and at least 40 to sit in the Grand stands on top of the ticket cost.
Seemed like a lot of folk didnt want to pay the 10 Euro, but 85 Euro for 2 days isnt bad .
I just wish they would show some respect, they could add stuff electronically for the TV feed easily.

Yes if you go for two days 85 euro is oke.......but if you can only one dat i think it's free price....and 10euros extra for grandstand is just ridiculous
I think its a pricing that only works for die hard fans and it ensures that casual fans dont come.
I have 3 friends who all have kids and all are casual motorsport fans. We've been to 2 Dutch Masters this year, just the guys with their kids on sunday to the races.
A masters is 25 euro for a dad with 2 kids 8 and 10 years old. Older then 13 is 10 euro i think.
This GP would have been 170 euro if bought in presale for them. Thats over 200 euro when you buy a beer, 2 cola and 3 burgers.
I understand a GP is something different then a masters but i couldnt get any of the 3 friends to join at those prices.
I was lucky enough to be invited inside the HRC fishbowl last year for a 2 minute tour. (no Shoes allowed)
Very nice, but to me it's not what Moto is about -it feels like the waiting room of an upscale dentists office inside.
Motocross is a sport for the people to hang over the rail at the open awning and geek out over the factory bikes up close, not thru a tinted window with graphics. You can't even take photos of the bikes from the outside because of the window tint -
This sport is not, and should not be like F1.
No spectators or interest at the HRC, Standing Construct Honda, or Kawi rigs this year at at Arnhem or Lommel, but at the KTM and Yamaha trucks they were three fans deep.
