Chase vs Lawrence in 2024 SX is probably looking spectacular. yes Chase folds the front wheel a lot now, but he's on a new bike -- they will work on this as a priority -- but Sexrton's speed is absolutely real, and he's more of an SX surgeon. get ready for WWIII
2024 will be a rebuilding year for Sexton given the upcoming bike/team switch
Who cares about sx right now.
All I can say is Stop the streak..someone please.
I'm really excited to see Hunter in SX on a 450. I think his SX level really went up the last two years, he gained plenty of speed and might really unleash on the 450.
We see the surgery being performed right now.
Unless chase takes a really fast paced online post graduate course before January, I think KTM better have some really good malpractice insurance.
Nobody wants to be operated on by a doctor who keeps falling over.
And he turfs it more indoors than out.

I’m just saying Chase has the speed indoors so we could see some serious battles. When you add Eli Tomac’s return for 24, this could be a huge year indoors. Think I’ll fly to Anaheim for this one.
No denying his speed.
And I'm really hoping that his switch to another brand helps to elevate his game.
I seriously want to see good back and forth battles between the two for SX wins.
If only it was somewhere other than KTM.
A race team rather infamous for not fine tuning a bike to fit the individual needs of its racers.
Ask Webb about that.
I was thinking about the future of the 450 class yesterday with Justin and Hunter moving up. I wonder if moving on to the 450's would be good for Forkner at this point? RJ would be a good candidate to move up as well. Other than Jett pulling an RC and stinking up the show (joking sort of) the future of the class looks good imho.
When we talk to Webb, should we confirm his (2) 450sx titles were with KTM?
#2 lining up on a Star Yamaha too 👀
I don't think it will be chase vs Lawrence at all. All the heavy hitters are gonna be back and also hunter moving up to 450. Chase crashes too much AND he will be on a new bike. Most guys cant switch brands and go right back to being 100% comfortable. Some can, like tomac did with yamaha. He just clicked with it right away. But I think sexton has been on Honda for so long the brand change is gonna be a challenge. Or I could be totally wrong. But I think 24 SX season is gonna be a wild one with many different winners. You're gonna have 10 guys that can win on any given night. It's not gonna be anything like MX where it's the usual 2 guys battling for wins. It's gonna be an exciting season
Honestly you throw Hunter, Kenny, Tomac, and Webb into the mix and SX 24 is looking pretty epic! Hoping for a more injury free year.
There will be 4 or 5 raced winners max just like every other year.
At this point you could argue Chases biggest competitor is himself. He won the SX title after a Tomac injury when he should have been 30 points out front anyways and this summer even after missing rounds and coming back he has arguably thrown away multiple moto wins. Maybe KTM and that crew is the answer but as it stands now the guy that just won the biggest title in our sport his is own worst enemy.
Chase will have a breakout year on the KtM … stamp it…
I'm just hoping chase believes the bike change will be good for him and fix the falling issue. Even if it's not true, as long as he believes it for a while. I feel like him and Honda are at a point where it's all mental and they're chasing a setup that doesn't exist because you can't just tell a guy get out of your own head and stop setting it down. What they're doing right now is definition of insanity. I don't get the impression that he's a diva about setup, I just think he's in his own head right now, so hopefully he'll just believe the change is the fix and it'll be self fulfilling prophecy.
Before they changed their bikes, that no longer turned as well as they did when he won those two titles.
Then wouldn't allow him to make changes needed to suit him.
That KTM.
Let's hope it works out better for chase.
I'm not holding my breath.
Didn't they let him bring his own suspension at one point this year? Sounds pretty accommodating to me.
Is #96 moving up to 450 for 2024 SX? I was assuming Honda wanted to run the #1 plate in 250's
Pit Row
Hymas and Shimoda 250's
Lawrence brothers 450's
Why? It's becoming the most exciting part of the season.
I’m not sold on the fact Chase will ever figure it out. I had thought so but it now it seems unlikely. It’s funny to think how people a few years ago compared him to Dungey. If he could just stay up he’s so damn good. But, he just can’t seem to stop crashing.
be funny if Hunter goes 450 and wins A1.. making Hunter the first rider to beat Jett in AMA
The SX winner will be the same as the MX champion. You don't have to like it but that won't change it. Unless he gets hit by a fucking meteor...Jett is and will be champion for a while.
Not gonna happen. Hunta is good but baby bro is past good by a couple of levels.
Clearly you don't remember the SX broadcasts last year constantly comparing their stats and trying to convince everyone they're the same.
Wrong. There is no one vs Lawrence. Chase may wind up 2nd through 5th. Lawrence could have a perfect season for the next several years at least.
“Most guys can’t switch brands and be 100% comfortable”? Have you been watching SX/MX for the past 30 years? MC Yamaha 98, RC Honda 02, JS Yamaha 09, KR Suzuki 16, ET Kawasaki 17 Yamaha 22, CW KTM 19. All won championships first year on new brand. I’m sure there’s more. Most guys flourish when they switch brands. RD KTM, JA Kawasaki, Mookie Husky just to name a few.
People are delusional if they think there is any rider right now that will best Jett, in SX MX or anything else. We don’t like it, but that’s the way it is.
Lol....I remember but I went to SX and watched all the races....and MX last year. Hunter is good but Jett is... unbelievable.
Reed also won MX in '09 on the Suzuki and was only just beaten by JS in SX. Also Reedy in 11 on the Honda lost the SX title to Villo by 4 points and was clearly ahead of RV and RD outdoors until the Chadapult.
Dungey won outdoors in 2012 first year on the KTM.
