It is pricey but I can't help wondering how it would go if I stuffed it into my old XR600? Honestly, that XR handles really well (after some suspension mods). That wide ratio gearbox might work really well in the more open HS stuff.
The displacement of 600cc is what seems odd to me... Building something to compete with the BRC 500 kits would have been a better choice in my opinion. And make it a drop in to a CRF450 frame.
Hopefully the OEM’s take notice and start producing something similar
Looks great https://pantheramotorsports.com/pm09-22-downpayment-100
You people are killing me with these big bore smokers....

How does one make an exhaust for this?
Take notice of what?
Creating a product that kills your customer base doesn’t seem like a smart business approach, lol
The market for people with balls big enough to run a 600cc 2 stroke engine is incredibly small.
Take notice of the multi stage, solenoid activated power valve. That’s been in use for years on other 2 stroke applications
The option of fuel injection or carburetor
The option of kick start or electric start.
$7200 for the 600cc engine
Find a nice CRF450 roller + some welding and you have a new CR500 for not much more than a new 450
Love to bolt that into my Honda Grom.
Not a 600, but some dude put a Banshee engine in a Grom. It looks fun.
Just don't twist the throttle too much, simple.
Now we know why Tomac didn’t commit to year 2 at Star
Yep, lol. Good point.
I would definitely go for the electric start.
Wow, 99mph on that thing. That was a little scary
why, they haven't sold in big numbers since the early 80's. its been a fall off ever since,
Be great to see one of these in a chassis. Until then, it'd be tough to spend money to get in line.
Pit Row
Give me that with a road racing tranny and slap that in a 600 chassis or moto 2 chassis
Lol.
It’s not all about the size of the engine . It’s about the technology and options they are offering.

But hey, I'm not buying it either way.
I'm sure they're all putting in overtime as we speak to get "something similiar" our to the public.
Awesome
560 cc not 600.
Long stroke CR500.
Okay, I want one now.
They get those twin 350's over 100hp. Would be absolutely wicked
