That’s so awesome. I’ve been looking at at 690 for the Sierra Nevada region. Does it handle like a dump truck?

I couldn’t ride if I wanted too.  One AC unit been down in Hot as hell high humidity League City Texas the last few days.  Took 4 service calls from two different companies to figure it out.  Finally bed room cooled off.

Then internet went down for about 14 hours. Wife freaked out thank God ISP fixed it.

Spent better part of the day rebuilding AC system  in my 2 dr Tahoe.  AC is great when it works but expensive when it don’t don’t.

Got up to 102 here today. Heat index over 110. Not a single cloud in the sky all day. It was a bit toasty.

I'd say it doesn't handle as well as a dirt bike, but it's a thousand times better than something like a KLR, for my purposes at least.

Goddam some of you guys make me jealous. Closest track I have is 2 hours away. I’d be sneaking in rides in your heat if I had a track 20-30 minutes away. For sure

Taking the rest of the summer off.  No desire to ride in 100+ temps anymore, even when I get on the track at 9:30 and leave by noon.  I'll be back riding in September.

We got really lucky last Sunday at LACR. Ended up taking my son out there and arrived just after 8. it was already 89 when we got there but the clouds blocked the sun until 10ish. After they disappeared it felt like we jumped from 90 to 110. We bailed around 10:30 but my kid got plenty of riding in during the 2 hours we were there.

Rode Marysville E street. Was supposed to be high 90s but had a cool breeze got lucky.
I remember one of my first races in ‘81 and crashed in 100 degree weather and was hot dizzy couldn’t walk straight. Went down to the river and recovered for Moto 2.

Same here, I’ll ride when it cools down.  This next week Texas is going to hot as hell, 100 plus everyday for the next few weeks.

Hell yeah. I get it. I don't have the luxury to choose. I'm in NE and can't ride all year. So I'm riding when it's hot. It's also not 100 here

When it's too hot it's these options.  I love the standup skis, the wife prefers loves the boat life.  So we take turns in which one we do for the day.

Be careful.
The heat can sneak up on you…don’t realize it until it’s too late.  85 degrees is my personal cut off for any exercise with heart rates as high as Moto.  Your mileage may vary.

Same as you. We had decent weather with an 8:00 AM start time, it was pretty good weather up here in Redding. Had to get my 1st ride on my new to me YZF and stretch her legs. Soooo different from my 350. Took 3 moto’s to get comfortable. Thanks to the Stillwater MX crew for prepping and watering through the morning!

100+ is perfect as long as the humidity is 98% and most important the dew point has to b above 75%. The dew point is the key for a beautiful Hot day. 110 in dry heat is nothing. Charolette area fri it was 102 with 85% humidity but the dew point was a low 50. It didn’t feel hot. Ohio the same day it felt much hotter because the dew point was 78%.  This yr union city Tn. Was the hottest state that I was in. 99 with 98 humidity dew point of 83%. In 30 seconds your soaking wet. Spent a couple hrs in a trl that was 180 degrees.

You might want to look into things like the dew point being expressed in degrees (as in temperature), not percentage.

All this talk of heat is making me jealous! It hasn't stopped raining much for weeks here in the UK and is around 60 degrees most days. Some tracks are shut due to flooding Sad
