Chase has obviously raced Eli head to head, and knows his potential…but Jett hasn’t. I’m not saying Tomac could just come back & smoke Jett…but if Jett thinks Eli won’t be stiff competition, with the ability to beat him straight up if he makes a mistake, or not…he’s got another thing coming.

“Another gear” for Eli might be the place Jett doesn’t feel comfy riding at.

I was there last night.
He said November 1st for riding, so no way for SMX.
I have a quick interview on my IG too.

I think this is definitely a tall order for Eli, but if Eli and Webb actually train together this is going to be a fun Supercross season. Stars philosophy of sparring the riders week in week out could create a vicious team. Jett is just wildly fast, it's poetry in motion.

I’d say December. Nobody is worried but they may be Jan of 24!

I think there’s about a 0% chance that Webb moves to Colorado or Tomac moves to Georgia.

What i see is Jett and his brother are both the most prepared and determined. Not gonna start with the depleted field stuff but the lawrences showed up READY. I don't think alot of other guys did and the ones that did weren't exactly title threats anyways (win threats maybe).

Eli will be ready or he wont be attending. Chase will be attending regardless and we don't really know about the bike status. We'll have to see. Jett will be ready. Cooper will be ready. Anderson is a wild card.

I often see Hunter grouped in with Jett's success. "The Lawrence's." Jett is the one in the big boy class delivering and seemingly unflappable. I still see chick's in Hunters armor. I don't think he handles pressure anywhere near Jett. What happened 2nd moto at Washougal? After going down chasing Deegan, he couldn't get around Kitchen. Can't blame his 2 dnfs much on him and call it bad luck but champions through history make their own luck

Jett’s starts are incredibly consistent a 1st  2nd or 3rd. Eli has been pretty good since he left kawi but he’s had a few 7-10 starts that’s not gonna fly even with beast mode on, plus the weird few laps of him being average ever so often because he wasn’t “feelin it”.  No room for that.  Eli needs to comeback in 2022 form with 2015 speed.  Let’s hope we see this.  It will be incredible.

I genuinely think Jett would enjoy the challenge, and has more or less said as much when asked. Probably not out the gate, but Eli would definitely have something for him and you’d have to be unbelievably naive to think otherwise.

Visually he's definitely NOT going faster than last year. At nearly every round Chase isn't attacking the track like he did last summer with Eli. He's not riding smarter, he's tipping over nearly every final lap. AND you could visually see that Sexton's bike is underpowered compared to Jett's. Millville's big hills were an eye opener. Chase is maybe 20 lbs heavier than Jett. Jett had zero problems jumping the uphill triples whereas Sexton was lifting, even if they got on the gas in the same spot with the same line choice. Stewart even mentioned that Jett's bike was noticeably faster than Sexton's bike at Millville. So I know I'm not alone on the engine being a factor. Chase also doesn't want to admit he's going slower than last year, who would?

“Visually” meaning your point of reference is him getting his ass kicked with a new kid in the 250 class that is redefining that “attacking the track” phrase. I think on a practice track or a test day he’s probably on par with last year, albeit with a dent in his confidence.

Cooper will be ready? You sure bout that one? He'll be trying to get used to a new bike after years on an Austrian one.

My 78 yr old pops with a 50 lbs beer gut had Achilles tendon surgery on the same week Eli injured his. We actually laughed about the coincidence.

My dads been mowing the lawn for two-three weeks now. I cant believe how fast he healed up. I imagine Eli can heal much quicker than my beer drinking deep fried perch eating old man. haha.

That is mostly subjective and contradicts Chase.

On the bikes.

The power difference you see is not what I notice. I'm seeing Jett's bike with the rear wheel in contact with the ground more, and driving, making the difference.

Keefers ride impression of Chase and Jett's bikes broadly supports that.

And it could be purely bike set up. But if that's the case, then Chase needs to learn how to set up a bike.

Maybe not.   ...but would be cool to see them train together nonetheless.   I bet they would work well together at this point in their careers.

Can you guys imagine though. If Tomac defies logic and is on the start gate for the SMX races? That would be insanity. His speed probably wouldn't be there, but you never know.
