So no other 2 strokes made it from LCQ? I was hoping Burkeen would get in from there.
Either way, it's still cool that we have that many lining up after +/- 20 years.
None of the other guys made it.
Results in the LCQ
12th Matt Burkeen
28th Bryan O'Neil
34th Josh McBride

Sounds like we might have a 300 or two in the field...
Who? Protests before moto 1 even starts?
Good. Screw Honda.
What does that have to do with Honda?
I guess I can’t blame the guys when $15,000 is on the line but man you’d think you would know you’ll be under the microscope of these guys if you’re in the battle.
Honda threw a hissy fit in the early 2000s that left 2 strokes at a big displacement disadvantage.
Let the drama begins… lol So who has the 300?
A 300 is still at a disadvantage. They might have an advantage over the 250 2t, but that's it.
The AMA sucks!
Sounds like a feel good story to me👍
All got lapped.

So Carson Brown nearly made 16k if I read this right 👍
$16,750 from the challenge and another ~$1,000 in purse money.
Was it on the pulp fantasy review podcast, someone mentioned in passing that Brown has even more incentive than that to be the top placing 2-stroke? Did I hear that right?
There was an additional $1,000 for the winner if they were on a YZ so maybe that's what they were referencing. He's got a RedBull deal so I'm sure there was probably some incentive there to create content around as well.
Hell yeah good for him. He seems like a good dude.
$17,250 from the 2-stroke challenge.
$1060 from the purse.
Total: $18,310
Payouts for the 2-Stroke Challenge
Brown: $18,310
Rodriguez: $4,670
Harwood:$3,520
Moranz: $1,760
Rodbell: $1,390
Steinke: $600 (Purse Only)
Hand: $600 (Purse Only)
Ray: $880
Robin: $880
I'm assuming the purse goes down in $20 increments after 30th.
Did anything ever happen with this?
