I watched Pings video on YouTube and scrolled the comments briefly. While reading the comments I came across one from Jeff Alessi, he basically stuck up for ping and used the example of ping contacting his father to borrow a set of what he called "the best forks ever made" They were showa and probably only 8 sets are in existence. Does anybody know what forks he was referring to?

Exactly 99% of the people I ride with have diff political views than I do. They are my race buddies and I would do anything for them including lend them $ and parts to race and beat me. As long as we don’t talk politics we’re fine. Although most of them know whatever daily spin they try and bring up around me I can usually easily debunk or make them look pretty foolish by just using their own words or just simply explaining the FOL to them

The notes says "for not using these". Did he send the parts back? Letter was probably damaged because he sent he seat brackets back in the envelope and it got wrecked in the sorter, never to be seen again. He definitely doesn't like you (but I hate engineer types too) if he didn't even use a box for em.
It's possible he attempted to return them. I don't know. Don't particularly care either. I sent them to him free in exchange for a bit of free advertising/endorsement/whatever. Since the design did change on the new bike, it essentially killed the market for my brackets anyways. Win some, lose some.
Doubtful you could usps mail seat brackets in an envelope with a single stamp, even if they are titanium. Maybe he tried, Ping doesn't seem like the engineer type either.
