Any race is better than the commercials that they run..

The forecast was known prior to the first gate drop. Do the rules allow for modifying the format?  Dropping the LCQs and moving the top 12 to the mains could have salvaged the evening. 

Yeah drop the LCQs. Oh hey Cooper, your bike is broken after a first turn crash in the heat but I'm sure Roger will be fine with you sitting out.

It's not just people, you don't want equipment damaged and have some lights to go out when you're on the face of a triple, or ripping fourth gear through the whoops.
