That MX Golf park is awesome track. Visited week a go but no Starks at track.
I remember you as one of the first with an Alta that made a review on this forum.
Do you still have the bike? And how many hours you got on it meanwhile?
Yep, I still have my 2017 Alta Redshift MX. I rode it today, as a matter of fact, with studded tires, on the trail loop around my house.
I have 279 hours on it, still runs great.
How’s maintenance compared to a normal bike? Do motor, battery and electronics need anything at all? How’s tyre, chain and sprocket life in comparison?

I haven't touched the motor, battery, or electronics, except for the left hand side handlebar switch that changes map settings. I damaged it in a crash and replaced it. I have replaced plastic, but more for cosmetic purposes.
Consumable stuff like chain and sprockets, brake pad, and tire wear all seem similar to any ICE bike.
It's been an awesome bike, and I continue to ride it hard and put her away wet and muddy, and she just keeps on going.
Nice one, got a lot of hours on it too! has the battery life deteriorated with age? How long can you ride on a trail loop until it's flat?
The battery seems to be the same as it was when new.
I have a trail loop (2nd gear single track, lots of corners and terrain changes) around my house, and I can go about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours. Average speed is about 9-10 mph.
On a mx track, at +50B pace, I can go ~30-35 minutes until a depleted battery.
Give me 40hp and 210 lbs and we've got a deal
Was it as bad in sand and deep loam as I’ve heard?
I just want to be able to do two 35 minute motos, in the sand, with 30-45 minutes of charging between.
I'd take 40 hp, 230 lbs, and 3 hours of range, off-road, at slow-old-guy,-A-class-speeds and we've got a deal.

No riding yet?
Let us know how 80hp feels.
When we gonna see some pics of these in the garage though?
This glamour shot sure isn't helping them. And why is it that all electric bikes have to look like pure ass? It's not that hard to design a non hideous bike.
if this photo op had been taken in a bustling factory instead of a workshop with no tools and no work going on I might be impressed.
This made me chuckle...
I hope I get the Varg I have on order.
On the other hand, I get a little nervous when I see the unrelenting PR blitz (apparently now involving Vital members), with no substantive updates that I'm aware of.
Still, hoping I (and everyone else) get my new toy sometime this year before the economy implodes...
Pit Row
Sometimes I think turtle neck is just trolling by calling it Stark "Future".
Lol...that's awesome
So can somebody clarify has there been a bike delivered LOL?
Yes, a bike has been delivered in the future
Cardboard cutout going by the pixel analysis.
Scammers desperate to stay credible.
Reminiscent of the Nikola truck that was towed up, and then rolled down a mountain to get action shots.
Could be wrong though.
Stark seems to have hired Industrial Light & Magic to do a CGI movie of our vital buddy Bryan‘s first ride. Didn’t think they would go that far…
People with orders, when are they due in? Have we not reached expected delivery dates yet or so they keep getting put back?
You're 100% wrong, but since you're so sure that this is all some kind of elaborate facade and no bikes will ever be delivered, do you care to put your money where your mouth is and place a wager? I mean, this should be easy money right, since you've clearly done vast amounts of internet research and have concluded that all of us are just naive fools putting our faith in an entity that doesn't even exist.
Is that dude coming home with a bike off the production line?
The lighting is weird, like their skin tones seem way off from the environment, 5k vs 3k. And to be fair, that could just be really bad post processing. Also, the shadows don't seem to make sense. You can easily identify one lighting source by the angle of the shadow from the stand, but the guys don't cast any shadow at that angle. They may not be casting any shadow at all, hard to say. It looks like a composite.
I would say amateur photography. All other things being symmetrical the subject isn’t centered.
However, I await Brians report as he is no slouch on an ICE or Electric bike and for the doubters Bryan is a genuine dude and I wouldn’t for a minute believe he would take part in a publicity stunt.
