Now that fantasy sx/mx has really taken off with not only the amount of people playing, but also the amount of discussion and banter bleeding over into social media. Is now the time to add another section to the forum dedicated to fantasy stuff?

Any footage at the star truck immediately after the race to show is if anything went down.  Would have liked to see the riders body language and seen what took place as the guys came back.

Sub-sections don’t get a lot of interaction on here. There’s not enough talk to really grant Fantasy it’s own area. A lot of it is bench racing in a sense…so I don’t think there’s a big enough reason to seperate it.

Sub-sections water down message boards....threads go to sub-sections to die. 

...and for the record, I'm not a fan of "fantasy" games for any sport.      Always thought it was lame.

What about a section within the site where fantasy players can come to get rider statistics for making picks?

Rider statistics are available, but spread out across multiple websites and it's fairly tedious to analyze picks each week. For example, have to watch the RM fantasy SX show, visit archived supercross results to look at results from last year for any given track, have to look at the last round of race results to get average finish position, average start position, etc., have to be vigilant with social media accounts to stay in tune with injury reports

 

From my observations, if you put together a section on Vital that translates all of this data/information into a useable form for making fantasy picks, a one-stop-shop so to speak, I think you'd have a differentiator within the market. Message me if you want to discuss, I have lots of ideas and have been working with the data streams for several years now for my own personal picks!

I think the RM model would be easy to setup and get a lot of Vital members to play
