Coops post race interview was fun to watch.
riding my balls off chasing him. I’m gonna get him one of these days.
what a race.
Thats Elis last Daytona. Webb needs to take this energy to MX where he's barely a top 5.
You can see the respect Coop has for Eli.
If anyone is still discounting Webb after that race...you're a fool. He stayed right with Tomac.
Damn, I wanted Coop to win.
We know
Like McGrath. Supercross specialist.

McGrath won an outdoor championship and has 2 Des Nations wins. Pretty sure he's still sitting top 10 in 450(250) outdoor overalls.
This isn't the comparison you are looking for.
Paul will never ever win a outdoor MX championship
blew my mind early in the main where Eli is jumping whoops and Coop is still blitzing, would have never had that on the bingo card.
He did already in 2016
Eli was taking the inside line when Webb was taking the outside line, that led to Eli with no dive so jumping was the only option.
If Eli Tomac had the starts he’s had the last two years for his entire career, 72 might have been in serious trouble.
Really what team and what size bike. Think we are talking 450 big boy class........BRO
Probably not and the factories probably couldn't give 2 shits about an outdoor title. He knows where money is...
Amen! That and the wasted years of his prime on the Kawasaki.
I would even say that it was almost embarrassing for "MX specialists" to be waxed by a rider who basically didn't give a damn shit about MX. JMC was too good at MX when he wanted to be. His MX title, he really wanted it to prove that he was not just an SX rider. JMC at Jerez MXoN was one of the best domination ride that I've ever seen of my life.
Seems like he’s in his prime right now
Eh disagree. He was a good outdoor rider and the GOAT Supercross rider. Emig was definetly the better outdoor rider of the two and a good Supercross rider.
True but he also was at Kawasaki and they refused to let him set the bike up the way he liked it.
He already has
Pit Row
It was great racing between those two last night. Early when Tomac was pushing to catch him I thought he was gonna hit the deck and Copper would get it. Coopers podium interview was great. I do wonder though for competitive as Webb is, it does or seems like it should really get to him that his outdoor results on the 450 are subpar for a rider of his caliber? It’d be nice to see another top guy in the mix this summer.
Then why is he racing MX this year? SX might be more important but the sponsors still want a MX title too.
I don’t see how you can’t be a fan of Webb, or at least respect him. He gets the most of what he has, rides smart, and never quits. And no bullshit excuses when he gets beat. Guys like that are great for the sport.
Respect his Supercross ability for sure. But he has plenty of quit in him. He didn’t race MX last year and from the sound of it he wasn’t gonna race MX this year if it wasn’t for SMX.
They don’t give 2 shits. I think they give 1,000,000.
In case you need a reminder of how bad ass Eli is/was at Daytona:

I guess. But why did Roger and KTM let a perfectly healthy Webb sit out the Nationals last summer? Why are teams signing guys to Supercross only deals? Outdoors has it's spot, but in the pecking order of what team's want it's way, way, below a Supercross title.
That's cool. I still disagree.
He quit before outdoor started.
Not just here, everywhere!

Go watch MC at Southwick 1995. Hot, humid, the old track, laid waste to the hardcore outdoor guys.
Eli is the king of sandy, rutted, messy tracks. He has such good technique and athleticism it allows him to ride balls out on rough tracks like Daytona.
