Jett's youth and inexperience were on full display, Jett was WFO out of control and cross jumped Austin and ruined Austin's season. Honest objectivity is not an innate trait in young men.

Watch the race replay 58:30. Hunter runs it on Thrasher moments before he got cross jumped.
He said Nate was riding dumb and almost immediately said "idiot". He only walks anything back after he see's the replay.

I would say they spent the rest of the 250 race+ and part of the post race show trying to walk that back.

Man-caving “qualifying” on 2 devices via Peacock (I lag it at about 1 minute on my iPad as an readily avail “replay” device). No steaming issues, no Peacock angst…no problem.
To all of the people using the Forkner and Jett crash as an example he should not have called out Thrasher ( and then changed his mind after seeing the other view) . I think that if you asked him about that crash he himself would say he was riding sketchy and it was his fault. After that race he was really bummed out about that crash and Forkner being hurt. So really he has been in the place of Thrasher and his criticism could be self reflection on how he felt like he was riding a couple years ago, compared to now .Either Way , it is nice to see a rider give their honest opinion , and change his mind after seeing he was wrong.
I am a fan of his, though so I am not totally unbiased. Maybe I'm stretching on the defense of the calling other racers sketchy . But Even back right after the Forkner incident , Jett was visibly upset that he caused the crash. And I feel like I can remember him talking about being sketchy when he had a bad race this year.
Totally ignoring that he took the cross jumping comment back screams biase to me. I guess there is nothing wrong with not being a fan of a racer. But stuff like using these selective facts is a big part of what is dividing everybody in so many things these days. Had he not corrected himself , then I might not have even commented in this thread. But pulling out pieces of something to support your idea of what happened is becoming way too common . I guess that a lot of people may have just gotten worked up, and started to yell at their TV and missed him change his take on the move. But there have been multiple posts with people saying that he changed his mind. I think he's a young kid , who is one of the best SX racers in the world at the moment and has had some on the edged and over the edge sketchy moments himself , so using the word was not meant as an insult . Maybe Jett can define the way he was using the word. Not that it would really change anything. The haters will hate, and the fans will fan.
