Bondo! WTF?!

That little Suzuki ghost banner was following McAdoo at one point.

I don't mind them on the start straight before the race gets started but after that, leave them off the screen.

One curious thing is that some of the graphics still say "Monster Energy Supercross."  Obviously that is what it is, but it seems like there have been naming rights issues people have been trying to work around, and this one goes right to the gut.

Nothing is going to change with Bondo-job on the job.

A regime change is what we need....but it looks like Bondo is going to have to croak before he relinquishes his death grip on our sport.

I'm guessing he has a directive from Feld on exactly what to show at the end of heats.  So unless he has an exceptional reason to show something else, you show what your bosses want.

The name tags are hilariously horrible. Last week one got stuck on a track marker. It’s almost like they have meetings Monday mornings with free lunch to whoever can come up with the dumbest idea. 

The only thing Bondo is good at, is making me shout at the tv because he sucks at his job. 

It's like that in everything.  Concert footage is the same way... you rarely see the whole band.  It's always zoom into the lead singer's nose while the guitar player is soloing.  In both concerts and supercross and everything else live 8/10 of the fun is watching stuff going on away from the main action.  

But that's just, like, my opinion, man. 

No doubt, from the top down with past dorks that have been the potus. All the proof you need. 

Another moment of brilliance for the 450 LCQ. I want to be constructive but holy shit it’s frustrating that this continues to be an issue. 

No they didn't. They missed 2 races

Top 3 tips for Bondo-

- show all 9 qualifiers cross the line in every heat

- Actually show the LCQ, don't run 50% of it over with replays, while you're at it no replays during any of the races, lots of time before/after the races, use this time for race analysis instead of filler.

- Picture in Picture is better than split screens with most of the screen taken up by backgrounds

They cut away from Chiz just as he sent it down the inside of Noren to show the guy who ran and hid at the front cross the line. 

Luckily they had it on replay, but still.. 

At least they showed the battles to the point where they didnt. 

 Name tags cover the riders up. They wasted so much money on that technology and it look embarrassing. Why can we not just watch the finish of the heat races? The race finishes and we get an advert before we know the finishing order. The TV deal is dragging the whole package down. And what the fuck is going with that fake tanned screamer on race day live? Also anyone on the broadcast team I couldn't give a fuck about your fantasy team, talk about what's happening on track

My question is why did they implement these pointers when we still can’t get lap times shown on the leaderboard like literally every other race series in existence?

Yeah, showing split times from the leader is helpful, but that column should shuffle with last lap time every few seconds.

Our coverage is a clown show now with this guy in charge and there is now way we couldn’t be just as good as the MXGP package if they would take criticism and change some things!! The race is bd enough but than race day live takes it to a whole new level as I dint think they have ever shown a hot lap period!! Too busy showing someone rolling around going to the pits or something!! And that Hubbard guy is beyond annoying to listen to!! 

Yea we had to watch the first lap of the 450 LCQ from a Chinese balloon view, then we spend numerous laps of the 450 main recapping Sexton's season in full screen.

We're watching Barcia/Anderson in the main for a while and then Sexton crashes, they go away from the broadcast to show all Sextons previous crashes and replays of the one that just happened..   All the while you hear the crowd screaming...Something happened to Barcia cause he dropped a few positions....nothing said or shown about it. 

It just gets worse and worse....

Funny that if they didn’t use these high altitude shots, they wouldn’t need the name banners telling you who the ant on the colored ant bike is.  It seems at some point in the past we had much closer camera views than they use now.

Missing the start of the 450 lcq is unacceptable. So we're missing the end of races and now we are missing the start of them as well. Better put a feature on in the middle of a 7 minute race. I couldn't see a single start all night with that camera angle they used

No no, we like the ten inch wide box in the left of the tv screen that comes out into the center of the picture and turns a 55in tv into 24inch tv. 
 

Here’s my thing, they can’t be happy with the product they out out right? It’s passable at best, that’s it.  Wish Bondo would have the balls and passion to come on here and actually listen to its core viewers. 

Didn’t Dark say he’s interviewing him and was going to be with the tv crew? Be interesting to see if he was up there during the lcq start…See what “hard” questions he asks….

I'd really like to hear that interview. Where can it be found once it's up?

I, as many of us are able to, call stuff out and then it happens. Drives my wife crazy. 🙃  I think bondo hates core fans. I already posted in another thread, so I’m going to just walk away🫣. 

I watched Jett take the checkers followed by one of his green screen promo shots to commercial. Once Jett crosses the stripe, nothing else of value to be seen here people. 

He did say that, in a thread where he previously replied individually to a few posts already defending the production crew.

Darkside seems like a good dude, but in my opinion he wants to be in the cool guy club WAY too much to ask those hard questions.

Those questions have been asked before anyway, and it's the same response every time....Bondo "bleeds the sport" and "there is so much going on they can't catch everything"
