3:45 left and Coop is coming up to challenge for the lead and wait what, let’s see what the battle for 6th is doing. Unbelievable! Complete garbage. I’ve seen little league baseball have better more professional production crews. At what point does the broadcast booth that’s watching the monitors just refuse to listen and give a play by play of what’s important and tell the production director to switch back to the real race. And to think we’re paying for this service too. Epic Fail.
No doubt whoever directs the cameras is awful. And has been for years. Clueless.
Actually if you go back and listen James and RIcky were trying to call the actual action. The dipshit producer clearly got in the other dudes ear (can't think of his name atm) and he abruptly started talking about J-Coops awesome6th place ride...
The producer truly is pathetically bad at his job. I can only guess that he "knows tv" but really isn't even into racing and even after like 15 years still has no idea how to see what's building on the track. He missed basically every big moment of the night when every fan knew what was coming...
Go watch an mxgp race if you actually want to see the racing action as clearly they have It figured out and our coverage is a clown show week in and week out!!
This broadcast team is untouchable. They're part of the Feld/MXSports Bro Show.
Plus they probably work cheaper than someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Production Director is getting direction from “executive leadership” who myopically try to “make it right for a wide audience”, and in doing so, insult the intelligence of people who know nothing about the sport but can catch on a lot quicker than these “experts” believe.
My only complaint is that after the winner of the heat race passes the finish line they pan away from the race as if it’s over. Meanwhile there’s eight other guys in the heat of the battle for a transfer spot.
They missed alot of racing today circlejerking on the personal interest diatribes. Really sad. But then again you can tell just by the commercials they run that NBC is all about the lowest common deonominator.
Same old song and dance. Been this way for far too long. Until Bondo croaks, he'll be ****king up the broadcast. Stamp it.
Nothing will change.
One complaint of many was the running order was jumping all over the place for long periods. There are times I thought for sure so and so fell when they’re down in 12th for awhile, too long of awhile. I fooled RC at least once
they coulda just had james and ricky in booth and it woulda been 10x better than that shitshow it was tonight with teh 3rd wheel trying to say something useless
hes literally ralph 2.0
Gotta agree with you on that one.
The absolute garbage they try to get you to watch, via their commercials, is mind numbing.
I'd imagine actually watching those shows, is mind rotting.
At one point Deegan starts dropping fast on the live scoring and I thought he might have gone down. But no comment. Scoring updates and nope, he is still in 4th.
I remember an interview with DC when the Nationals broadcast was having teething issues. He made it sound like Bondo was the only person who knew how to turn the machine on and couldn’t be replaced. There is some young AV/IT/broadcasting talent out there I am sure. Move on from this dude.
Bro how about when the heat is over they don’t even show who finishes!! They’ll show top 3 and go right to commercial! Like wtf i gotta see if my fantasy picks get in
When they cut away from Sexton/Webb to Coop/Ando, Webb was about 2 seconds back. I saw the gap go down to 1.1 while the camera was still on Cccp/Ando and then a few seconds later you could hear the stadium erupt. Never fails…🤦
You could hear someone in the background say sexton down.
It’s about pushing and developing story lines to go along with the racing.
It’s not about the racing. 🙃

What was up with following Vialle’s battle for 8th?
not very family friendly... all herpes and gay shit. and then they only have three commercials over and over again.
I could feel it coming. Only because we have seen This movie before. Great battle up front, lets go watch 8th.🤪 It would be harder to do it on purpose. *****new rule- if the lead is 3 seconds or less . Stay on the lead. At a minimum go to box in box. While we are here, will has to shorten it up a ton. Jeez the long winded feelings speeches are so tired. Never fails to interrupt a pass etc.
Hard to say they are doing this to bring in new viewers. I had to type in “super” to get it to pop up on my peacock app. If they are paying to get this put on they should ask for a refund
Last night was almost as bad as Indy a couple years ago when they showed a replay of the Webb/Roczen Houston race on the last lap. It's so bad. Completely inexcusable. Unfortunately, nothing will change.
this^^^ once again we, as regular fans, have to dig a little to find the race on Peacock but they expect the “casual” fan to stumble upon it and then actually watch it.
I wish my employer would hire Felds HR department. I would like to be able fail as many times as Bondo and still be employed.

As much as I agree with the criticism expressed I have to give them credit for what they did in the 250 race! That finish by Hunter and Nate was the best in years! My wife and I were yelling at the TV for the last few laps and scared our two cats that had been sleeping next to us!!
At this point I truly believe you could pick any random vital poster , and they would do a better job at producing SX then what we are getting now . It’s like the producer has no clue about how a race develops . No anticipation . It did seem that RC and James were fighting the direction and trying to stay on the developments on the track but they get sidetracked . Coombs defence of Bondo last year was simply bizarre to me . You think he is doing a great job ?? Seriously ? What colour is the sky in your world Davey ?
The simple answer is to split the screens when they want to pump a storyline. Same goes for showing the finish line action with the leader versus the rest of the pack/action. Its not really that complicated. And people need to understand that their very own beloved Daniel Blair is one of the key players pimping all the drama, and he has a direct line to Bondo. So if you wanna bitch, you gotta include Blair in that. Very talented announcer/speaker, but can't stand the constant drama pumping.
And last week in the 450 LCQ. Transfer spot down to the wire. Nah we will see that on replay. Let’s watch first place cross the finish line and celebrate after he lands instead.
I really wonder if DC and other influencers in The MX and SX game actually watch the broadcast of their events. Maybe they are always at them so don’t notice what the fans go through trying to watch our favorite sport? It just seems weird that someone like DC who grew up as a racer and fan of this sport can watch what we are given and say “yeah this is awesome, I have no clue what those vitards are complaining about each week”
The thing that continues to annoy me the most is that they don't even understand what a heat race is. They keep following the winner past the finish line, when the whole point of the heats is to see who the top 9 are going through. Usually the most exiting race to watch on the last lap is the race for 9th place! (or 4th in the case of lcq. )
