Do You think that was a bad/dangerous move on the first lap of the main? Possibly the reason Hunter goes off the track clipping a tuff blocks. I think back when Barcia did something similar to Roczen & getting roasted for it.

Vialle did not pull a "Barcia" on Lawrence. Hunter decided to jump left instead of straight. He would have been just fine. They weren't as close as Roczen and Barcia were.

Vialle scrubbed dangerously close to a couple of guys in Houston. I chalk it up to a lack of SX experience. Hopefully he figures it out before making contact mid air.

Idk, looks pretty cool to me.

If he doesnt scrub, Hunter blockpasses him in the next turn

Ah yes, the ole whip-block.

Young whipper snappers - "Sikk BRO!!"

old Vets with common sense - "that shit is dumb and dangerous"

Watch the Coty Shock crash.  Appears he was a victim of his own whip-block.

Is he not allow to scrub when leading? Hunter chose to get that close to him

I'm surprised that it took this long for it to be brought up here.

Definitely something that somebody needs to address with the young man.

Glad to have him here in the states racing.

But some of the tactics used across the pond, need to stay there.

On the opening rhythm section with 20 bikes in the same rhythm. Yea I wouldn’t be scrubbing.  If you mess up the rhythm you get landed on.

Saw it when it happened and immediately thought...."if it was Barcia, there'd be 12 threads calling for his head".

I looks to me like Hunter knew he'd be jumping left as soon as Vialle started squeezing him that direction coming out of the corner. He knew what was coming. Tom telegraphed that move pretty well, I'd say.

"almost" being the key word here...No harm, no foul.

And you would be there white knighting for him in all 12. Vialle is a rookie. Barcia has been at this over a decade he should know better

He was not leading if Hunter is next to him over a jump and has the inside on the next corner.
He should be thankful that Hunter took evasive action. Would have been worse for him if his rear wheel touched Hunters bike.

Hunter’s composure at the time and restraint since not to make a big deal of it is impressive. I suspect he had this in his mind among other things during the press day interview at Tampa talking about not everything is in your control etc.

Vialle did nothing wrong, he was riding defensive and agressive but no dirty. That is the only thing he can do while he improves and gets faster (he knows Hunter is better than him at the moment), however this exact move shows why he did what Hunter never achieved: MX2 World championship. Tom is confident, sharp-minded and killer instinct.

Almost hitting Hunter? Sounds similar to "mostly peaceful protest"

I feel this is a really bad take.

If you are slightly in front and scrub and that scrub causes you to take up multiple lines.

To me that's almost the same as cross jumping.

You are taking another riders line while in mid air.

If it's hunters fault for being to close. The same could go for any move and a leader could rider the track dangerously and blame others for being to close the whole time.

Hunter saw the move coming from a mile away. Nothing wrong with what Vialle did.

Hunter said he knew it was coming and moved too far left, and it was on him. Why is this even an issue

People must see something completely different to what I see if you have an issue with that. Racing incident, move along…..

Yes, no issue.
Racing incident? No. Racing situation.

First SX race ever, you holeshot and you're leading. Of course you're going to throw it sideways over the first triple.

There was nothing wrong or controversial with that whip. Nothing. Some of you ladies need to grow a set.

Glad to have him here in the states racing.

But some of the tactics used across the pond, need to stay there.

What tactics? Being faster than us outdoors?

I do think it was a bit careless. You don’t throw your bike sideways when next to someone on a jump. Ever. Malcolm did this awhile back at a practice track and both guys crashed hard. It’s extremely dangerous.
