East coast should be fairly easy for him I suspect, I predict some top 3 results
Not happening, but Bradshaw won his first 125 SX. He actually finished 3rd the week before in his very first SX…..which was in the 250 class unless the Vault has it wrong.
Maybe one top 3, but that would be a meteoric rise from where he appears to be now
How's he ever going to get ready? Just keep riding the practice tracks? Lame

Pretty sure the point he was making is that his speed will increase over the season exactly because he is racing professionally and not staying at the practice track
He’s not saying he should stay as an amateur until he can podium. Nobody would become a pro if they waited for that
He raced Supercross futures last week on the same track as the pros, so they are just making sure to clear it up. He’s racing AMA SX this weekend, not futures
He won the Osaka Supercross at age 15 previous to AMA competition. (Beat RJ in the premier class.)
I really hope he just pulls a full & extremely average season of finishing between 6th and 3rd so people will just be like "yeah he is good" and just leave it at that.
The only way to get faster is to race faster guys. He can't point out now so even if it takes him 4-5 seasons he is only 22. Half of the guys in the class are 25-28. Let's see where he is at the end of the season.
Do you think MC’s dad referred to him as Showtime? I wouldn’t expect most parents to refer to their kid by their nickname.
That's a point.
Ya everybody knows that but I just think it's dumb to call it a "Pro Debut"- Wouldn't "Pro SX Debut" be more accurate??
Does that distinction really matter to you? I'm sure if you pointed it out the team would happily change the verbiage, but who cares?
WHEREAS, Haiden Deegan has accumulated enough Pro Supercross points.
WHEREAS, Feld Motorsports and the American Motorcyclist Association are holding a Pro Supercross race in Houston Texas on February 4, 2023.
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to consummate the relationship pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the undertakings of the Parties as set forth in this Agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, we all consider the 2023 Houston Supercross to be Haiden Deegan’s Professional Supercross Debut.
Ya makes no difference to me I don't care at all just pointing out it's his third Pro race not his "Pro Debut"
It appears he WAS racing faster guys last weekend in the Futures class…… or was that a different dude that goes by Dangerboy?
A lot of grown ass adults here are hung up on some really silly semantics. Who cares what his nickname is, or how long it sticks with him? And why is it important if they call it his pro debut, his pro SX debut or his very first ever pro super duper motorcross professional debut for the first time ever?
Jack calling MC “showtime” as a kid is killing me 😭😭😭
Pit Row
Is it really a pro track if Phil is jumping the jumps?
On a serious note, do they make the track easier when the futures are racing?
Seeing as how everyday on said practice track you’ve got last weeks 250 winner and several other 250 fast guys as well as Ferrandis and sometimes Eli??? How would you ever hey faster on the practice track?? Got me.
When you know every fast line on the track like the back of your hand, eventually your speed is going to plateau. Deegan will benefit more from going pro and experiencing different track designs and dirt than he will racing a familiar practice track no matter how fast the guys he rides with are.
Interesting that there were no big crashes throughout the day for the futures guys but two of the top 250 guys had big ones!
I agree that racing is big. I disagree that practice will have you “plateauing”. Every team is out there on practice tracks every day. I guess they don’t realize they are getting nowhere doing that now that they’ve all plateaued.
You’re missing the point, which isn’t surprising.
Does he make more progress racing actual professionals, on professional tracks in stadiums in real races, or spinning laps on the practice track for the next 4 months?
if you know something that basically every other pro who has weighed in on the subject doesn’t, we’d love to hear it
Practice is practice, tons of guys set fast lap times in practice. Racing is a different animal altogether
I missed nothing. Reread your initial post that I commented on.
I'm just going to sit back and enjoy it from the best seat in the house, my couch !!!
Forget immediate results, just do the laps, jump the jumps, aim to stay off the ground, build experience.
This is the best one can hope for. He's a ways off from being a top contender.
I’m pretty sure that Daddy Bradshaw never said “Beast from the East, go take out the garbage” either…..
