I don’t think it was shown on the broadcast but is there any video out of race 1 when JB51 almost collided with and landed on DW15 over the big double before the whoops? Looked like DW15 was pissed (obviously) and ran JB51 super high in the next corner. This was right after JB51 fell.
Did anyone else at the event see this? It was a really close one.
Correction RACE 1.
I just watched the broadcast and at 8:20 of the first race you can here the crowd and see DW15 take JB51 high in the 180° turn. No shot of them almost coming together in the air.
I was there and saw that too. 51 was a bit outta control once he remounted from the crash

Wholly sheet! Imagine locking bars that high in the air... then Barcia bounced off Savatgy coming out of the turn after Deano ran him high. Total BamBam maturity right there. Lucky none of them went down

I’m not hating on JB51. I’m acknowledging that that was some sketchy ridding by anybody standards. And if I was DW15 I’d be pissed.

Barcia is a straight liability on the track, and usually I'll be in line to string him up, but this one seems more racing incident to me. With that said perception is reality and Deano had a right to be pissed.

How many times have we seen guys do that stupid ass whip my bike into the other rider pass shit in the air? And nearly hit or in this case actually. And cause or nearly cause a crash.
Barcia is definitely a repeat offender of this. He's not the only one a few others do it to.
Didn't webb a couple years ago do that not really intentionally. But hit the guy in the air and went down. Just bad situational awareness

Look where each bike leaves the lip and where each lands. One of the riders crosses over in the air and that is within that riders control.

Barcia actually has no brain cells. A danger for anyone on the track.. Too much ego and not enough skill to beat top guys without taking them out.
Really why the whip?? That is a dick move. Only have a problem with some of the things JB does but it’s twice that he whips when too close to others.

Meh, I love a good Barcia roast as much as the next guy but that was just a near miss racing incident. One of those deals where you think to yourself when it happens "wow that could have been bad, probably wasn't too smart but nobody crashed so gotta GO now, then BRAAAP"

Good call, I thought Fernando’s was nearly undefeated in motocross in 2021. A few beat him in his dominating championship run including Barcia.
