El Hombre figured out the safest way to make a pass on Bam Bam; One step beyond the block pass is the "Crash Pass!" Put Bam on the ground when you pass him so he can't retaliate. I wonder if any other riders will employ this tactic? haha
Jason's had his clutch pulled and rear wheel locked up. He brake slid his rear wheel into Bams front. Perfectly executed I might add.
Great fanfare and drama but Jason is close to taking himself out of contention for a title run.
“This year?”
Its not just athlete's because without spell and grammar check my spelling is atrocious.
I purposefully mispell and use bad grandma just to spool up the spelling/grammar nazis.
Spelling and grammar are important if you're writing a formal paper or your resume. A message board....not so much. People need to get over demselves.

This issue with Barcia is the way he handles it after he cleans someone out. It’s always “He turned down into me and we made contact,” or “he cut right in front of me” or any other verbiage to place blame on the guy he cleaned out. He wouldn’t get near the hate if he just owned it and said stuff like “that’s what happens when you leave the door wide open” or “I saw an opening and I went for it”. But he NEVER owns it. Also, if you’re gonna ride like that you forfeit all rights to throw a hissy fit when you’re on the receiving end.
Solid 3rd place finish so apparently that “bitch” tweet must’ve really lit a fire under his ass last night.
Then the Tomac sinister laugh…. gold Jerry.
Barcia has the reputation already, but Anderson is developing his. He’s been tangled with a lot of riders throughout his career. I classify him as the same type of rider barcia is to be completely honest. He was trying to take sexton out in qualifying last year. He’s sawed off his share of front ends and always seems to be picking fights with someone. Mookie, roczen, marv, chase and various others. You don’t really see the top guys getting involved that and he would be smart as a title contender to chill. I think he’s frustrated with how his season is starting out, and Twitter fingers are not the answer.
It's a little premature to say his shot at the title is over since we're only 2 races in and there is 10 guys running lap times all within a second of eachother. He could easily go on a run like last year and a couple of DNFs or bad finishes for Eli and Webb, and it's game on. Plus all the other factory guys having sporadic finishes? Way to early to call his title chance done. But I still want Eli to win it again.
El Hombre’s move on Justin last-night cost me $100.
True story.
Justin’s clean-out move on Chase cost him a lot more then $100…lol
Barcia is definetly a punk and dirty rider who always acts innocent when called out. But if you look at it with the perspective that most other riders out there do and are afraid to get cleaned out by racing him hard (minus Eli, Webb, Anderson) So they're extra careful dicing with him and pussyfoot around making a move because of the payback they might/will receive. Kenny and several other riders behind him were faster, but Kenny couldn't pull the trigger on the pass. So everyone else was stuck in the traffic jam behind Roczen. So after what a 9th? at A1, who would've thought he would pull a third with his qualifying times? Good or bad, his reputation helps him in the races. I didn't think he would crack the top 8, let alone podium.
Can someone explain why Anderson is upset? All I saw was him taking Barcia out, so what is this about??
No doubt there was something unreported/unseen, that set him off.
And as far as barcia's spew about it during the post race, I don't believe one single word coming out of his mouth.
His new act of playing Mr innocent/I don't care, is a crock of shit.
You're right. I try to be better about this, but I was wrong this time. Thanks for calling me out.
Do you remember after the Barcia/Tomac deal went down everyone said Tomac was screwed? He messed with the wrong guy, Barcia is going to ruin his season, Tomac won't win the title now, etc, etc.
He did not catch him off guard. They both were going wide then cutting down the laps prior. Mookie saw Chase on the inside and adjusted to go high and wide. Chase took that away by running him high and made contact. How is that not punting someone? This is a racing incident, Mookie should have checked up but chose to say in it. Mookie's choice didn't work out, but to say Chase didn't punt him isn't true when they made contact at the top of the corner.
I think we have different definitions of "punt."
Pit Row
Anderson hasn’t said much and neither has Sexton or Barcia. I’m wondering if these incidents are nothing but guys racing?
I was told from an industry buddy that this went into the pits and they were nose to nose and had to be separated by AMA. If I were to guess Barcia had something smart to say which just made Anderson go off, then they were in a yelling match. You know as well as I do, Barcia wasn’t saying “that’s racing, I wasn’t mad” until AFTER he took Sexton out in the same move.
What else would you call someone knocking someone off the track?
Yeah I don't buy the whole "I don't care it was just racing" from Barcia either. I would actually like to see all the rider gang up on him and make a concerted effort to put him on the ground everytime they pass him. I don't think even that would make him change his ways but it would be pretty entertaining.
Anderson took the line away and barely made contact. It was Anderson's back wheel to Barcia's front wheel. The Barcia on Sexton pass was awful. Barcia went in, ONCE AGAIN, and did another front wheel to front wheel contact. That's a big NO NO. Head on collisions should have large consequences.
Hey....look at it this way....It's just a hot dog and beer at the park.....
Barcia calling Tomac “dirty as f*ck” was one of the funniest and most ironic parts of that exchange.
We need more of this kind of racing. Racing for the front.
it’s also nice when they show who they really are with their public responses and show that they aren’t role models, they just ride motorcycles.
and that is what I want to see.
While I’m quite sure you’re gonna “catch a beating” for this…even-though the televisions show opens with high-lights that include riders fighting…
If someone has some payback coming? Well, then, BRING IT!
But, there’s going to need to be someone enforcing the rules of what IS and IS NOT acceptable.
I’m glad I’m not that “someone”.
And to your other point: I got a good chuckle out of Jason’s post!
Hey, it was $15 Beer Night!
They are entertainers and yes, Anderson made an entertaining comment.
