Guys, Roczen wasn’t trying. It’s not the bike. Let’s not move the goal posts.

I'm pretty sure Mcelrath just missed the heat race transfer over a kickstarter too. I stand corrected I guess.

The first time this happens in a race the internet will melt down.

No. No that isn't it at all. You misunderstand it all.

A kickstart bike has its advantages! The bike is a couple of lbs lighter than an e-start bike and the engine is more responsive, so Kenny’s RMZ should be…. wait a minute!

I'm not sure I understood your post, but if this is relevant to what you were saying, I think Tomac does have Rekluse clutch components but it is not an auto-clutch, and I believe many (or at least some) factory bikes have a secondary start button in case the bar mounted button is damaged.

I am happy to be wrong, but I think that is the case?

There it is. Maybe Snake can fab up a button on the kickstarter so it looks like Kenny is kicking but really he’s hitting the start button with his boot.

I wasn’t even defending kickstarters, just referencing 3rd grader style thread creation.

Yes, it’s as if they pre type it before the race starts and the millisecond it happens they hit submit so the can win internetting. It’s tiresome.

However, that kickstarted Dinosaur sure beat some high technological advancements last night…

Always joking with that Suzuki kickstart thing. But wait when they come with there in secrecy developed air starter system, it will “blow” the competition away.

It happened to McElrath.  He was booting his bike in the heat race, losing positions with every kick.  It's gonna burn Kenny just give it time.

There's a lot of good hills to fight from but defending Suzuki's lack of e-start isn't one of them, esp not at a pro level where kicking a dead bike for 20 seconds can cost you a podium or worse.

i would say if your about to restart your bike in a main event- its very likely you wont be figthing for a top 5 position anyway. if your engine has to be re-started you ll will be on the ground before and already lost some time.

kcikstart or not- i would say that doesnt make a difference really. a heavy bike, not on par suspension will be a far bigger problem

Did you see A1?  The winner did a handplant mid-race then e-started his way back to victory.

For sure, if someone goes down they have other problems.

e-start bikes have a huge advantage for corner stalls.

Roczen could’ve easily bump started his bike down the landing of that table top. Would’ve made no difference.
