1/27/2020 12:17pm The roman empire used the place already as a frotress. It was rebuild like it is now at around year 1820s. Later on a piece of the citadelle was given to the city of Namur , where they build the esplanade and also the park. The citadelle was still used by the Belgian military’s till the end of the seventies...

12/19/2019 12:21pm Indeed 1992 was the year, the rider tried to double jump at the downhill section but hit a tree that was not protected with hay bales. Later on in 2006 the FMB ( Belgian mx association) had to pay close to 2 million dollar compensation. I think this is the reason that The FIM never wants to race at Namur...

12/19/2019 7:35am Claudio de Carli was 2nd in the first heat after Jobe, in the 2nd heat he also dnf. That was in 1987 even tv coverage had difficulties due to the heavy rain.

12/19/2019 5:59am It was a dnf for Georges in the second heat, a stone hit his exhaust. That day was one off the mudiest mx races i ever saw.
