Found an old go-pro from a race there in 2012. Not my greatest start, or finish for that matter
But you get an idea of the layout. Not "Exactly" like the original track (especially the dirt) but for picking out an available piece of land and trying to duplicate it, it's pretty close.
Other than that the turns were roughly the same, but no one can re -create the fabled"Blue Groove" clay asphalt that was made by over watering in the morning, followed by the hot July sun and the ocean breeze coming in from just over the hill.
I am so lucky I got to grow up at that track, there will never be anything else like it...

No, it didn't have the same soil but it was amazing how close they got it. It was eerily similar. I was blown
away how similar the sensations were as I rode around the replica track. Marc did an incredible job.
It was developed. What is left of the track lies in the area between all the buildings.
