Hope they have the track covered by tonight. Saturday looks good but they're talking tonight up pretty good.

I can tell you I can barely get some dry bike riding in the past few days - I'm 15 mins from the stadium, and it's starting to get annoying haha,

I'm sure DirtWurx is ahead of the game already and come Saturday night we will have a hell of a night of racing...

Has anyone other than me ever dreamt of them doing a one-off full-on Sand Supercross round?   Literally, no clay used in one round, just build mounds in the morning like the European beach race and let it get as rough as possible through the entire day riding!

Especially if there was a guaranteed mudder event or a race like Daytona where it might not cost as much as far as sand, needing to haul in sand...

It is SuperMotocross now let's remember.............  wishful thinking lol

They actually did that 1979 in Oakland it was the infamous paddle tire race that Jimmy Weinert used to win.

Holy shit! This is a legitimate news source and they actually used the term, "atmospheric river."  Not a Rick Roll or plumber link, I promise.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/bomb-cyclone-slinging-high…

This is a common term used for rain storms here on the west coast.

"The pineapple express"  Dallas Raines is gonna cream his jeans over this one. Our weathermen get really excited when we actually have weather, it's pretty rare Laughing

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watching the puddles gather rain
And all I can do
Is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view
But it's not sane
It's not sane

I just want someone to say to me
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today, hey
So stay with me and I'll have it made (I'll have it made)

And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape
Escape
Escape
Escape

All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
You don't like my point of view and I'm insane
It's not sane
It's not sane

I just want someone to say to me
Oh, oh, oh, oh
I'll always be there when you wake, yeah, yeah
You know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today, hey
So stay with me and I'll have it made

I'll have it made (I'll have it made)
And I'll have it made (I'll have it made)
Oh no, no
You know we're really gonna
Really gonna have it made
You know we'll have it made

I know, they finally have some weather to talk about lately.  It's starting off to be a great winter for us and let's hope it continues.  I really hope this storm tonight lives up to all their hype.  It seems every time they really hype a storm like this it turns out to be a dud.

No rain in the forecast for Friday or Saturday.

Nevertheless, it’s pretty amazing to me just how good Dirt Wurx has gotten at water abatement and drainage in the past couple years. There hasn’t been a full-fledged mudder in quite some time despite several instances of wet weather.

The Monster Supercross Vlog #1 video is pretty cool. Touches on the track prep then takes you out to the Mumford compound out in the high desert. Looks to be near Cal City to me ?? A lot of the factory teams were out there practicing in the dry conditions. When they talked with Sexton , he said most of A-1 was there. I couldn’t get my phone to cooperate and post it over here 🤷‍♂️
