I say they go the other way.

Fully embrace the black/Monster logo look. Get some badass skull stickers, an anodized muffler tip, and some carbon fiber stickers on the fork legs. Rattlecan some black overspray onto the frame and motor. Throw a few hardware store SAE bolts in the mix.

Now fucking that's a badass machine! She'll wheelie in 4th gear, bro. Had her up to 85 once in the alley out back.

My bad if I'm not up to date, I haven't followed the Euro stuff as much as I should, I swear CDR used to run blue fenders / maybe more, if not they still looked a lot more 'blue' than the US bikes, and if they did but they've since changed, that's a shame.

It literally is a kid's toy. Bennick and Deegan couldnt grow one cool 'stache shared between the two of them. Embrace the machine for the actual fun it represents.

I thought Monster made them run the black. Yamaha used to be sticklers for running blue, I think Reed even had to run blue gear. Now that Monster is throwing money at them, it's OK to run black.

Or maybe factory yamaha had different rules than Star racing has?

Given the size of Star Yamaha, they should break it up into the following colors to compete with the KTM group
Blue
Yellow
White (Euro YZs)

That would be quite a flex!

Brent Duffe posted this teaser yesterday of Haiden Deegan's bike with all blue plastic on it. The am side will run that look this year with Deegan (until Nationals I would guess) and with Daxton Bennick.

I threw a pole in the feature if you'd like to vote.
False!

They should run yellow and black.

Yes! Run blue, or even yellow, but lose the black!

Here's another example which I didn't even think of. See? Your marketing should align on all levels. It makes no sense for the building, truck, showroom bikes, Factory Racing logo, and even the effing nickname to be blue, and then to show up on black bikes.

Maybe Star Racing should be the Monster Energy Zero Sugar marketing effort?

They are in line with all of the logos, which flow with the rest of the graphics. If they were tilted to match the angle of the side plates it would look weird.

I have been saying this for yrs. Change the claw color to match the bike etc. would look so much better and freshen it up. Green only on kaws.

Forget these colours. European/Canadian red and white of the 1970's-these were the real beauties, Aluminum tank and all.
