With all of the 2023 regular MC GASGAS still on the 2022 design platform........

Do you think the 2023 Troy Lee Designs will be the newer design to ketch up technology wise?

They can’t because of homologation rules unless GG comes out with a new factory edition in the next 6 months that has the updated chassis.

I think they get their own model on the new platform for 23... so MY22.5 Edition bike(s) should be launched soon?

Nothing like coming to VITAL forum for the 'facts' on a new model! 100% just pointless guessing.

There’s a factory edition GasGas MC 250 and MC 450 coming in a couple months so the TLD team will be on the new gen bike coming into 2023.

New front end please. The gasgas looks mid from the front for sure. This is awesome!

I had made up a render of the 23 Husky before . And I thought it would be fun to make up a Gasgas and see how close it is to what hey make. I'll play around with the shroud tank area and airbox vents some more. But I saw this thread and figured it was a good place to post what I had made. Its a little rough and needs more fine tuning.

I’m told the TLD Gasgas factory graphics will be available in January from TS. Supposed to be different from 22

Just to make it extra clear , not that you are confusing me with Throttle Syndicate , but since my initials happen to be TS . I have nothing to do with the actual graphics or bike design that will be coming out. And although I do make graphics kits , I do not make ,and have nothing to do with the making of the TLD kits and this was just a fun project that I placed a customer of mine's number and some personal logos he runs on his bike that happens to be a TLD edition Gasgas . The KTM group can be very protective of stuff like this and I just want to make sure it is beyond clear that my render was nothing more than me trying to put a gasgas flavor onto the new generation KTM chassis and see how close I get to what comes out . Throttle Syndicate makes the current TLD bike graphics kits and I assume they will make them next year too. Its just my speculation put into an image, and also trying some modifications to the lines of the bodywork that I thought had a smoother flow and or gasgas looking features.

Thanks. It was an easy way of making it look different and more along the lines of the current Gasgas bikes. I still want to play around with the shape of the vents . But I think it looks pretty gasgas like. Seems like they could save money by just making red KTM shaped plastic like they do on the smaller bikes.Since they are calling it the less expensive option. But I guess then it cheapens the KTM if the Gasgas looks exactly like it? The changes they make on the fork guards between the 3 brands are so minor that they all look the same , until you try and install a graphic made for the wrong brand fork guards and then you see they are very different in a couple places. I've always been a fan of Hondas, well not always but for a long time now. And I really like the deep red on the Gasgas, makes the honda look kinda faded when they are sidebyside. I hope the trend of making number plates smaller stops . Seems like covering the exhaust as much as possible would make it less likely to cause a burn in a crash. I have a scar on my arm from the end of a silencer from back when they made them sharp pointed pipes at the ends. It was a full circle but fades away a little each year. I got burnt in a first turn pileup. And the front plates on the Varg and 23 YZ450 look almost toy like. I guess I'm getting old. At least the side plates are not as small as the 07-10 KTMs. Local tracks still use the bike numbers to identify a rider if they are down on the far side of the track ,or doing something dumb in the pits. So even with transponders there are valid reasons for decent sized number plates.

I just don’t understand why the ktm group won’t have 1 of the 3 manufacturers come with spring forks.

Because they know the other two brands would have their sales halved 🤣

I made up another variation after seeing the new Gasgas Rally bikes . Again it could use some more to finish off some areas. The rear one should be out soon as we get closer to the season and team photoshoots happen. I hope its not just a red KTM. Although it would make sense to save money . But running the bodywork/chassis ,etc. a model year longer than the KTM and Husky will also save some $$ by spreading out the cost. But KTM makes more bikes so I wonder if the Gasgas costs them more to make?  On this bike I used some of the Husky elements . The Rally bike looks like it has a Husky rear fender so I went with that on this bike. And the shrouds had a similar shape to what I did on this. I made the side plates  go down a little lower on this versions too. It is kinda hard to use that area for the number though. I will be surprised if the airbox area/sideplate by the seat is like my renderings , I bet it will be like the Husky and KTM. I just wanted to try something a little different and use less panels with a smoother look. I was thinking of adding some type of duct like vent to the sideplate by the shock reservoir to get some air into that area . Maybe I'll do that on another revision if I have any play time before the real bikes come out. I think I'll try doing a Suzuki render next. A Factory Edition , how cool would it be if they kept the current RMZ to keep an price point model and then added a factory version for racers . I think it would be fun to imagine one.

AMA Pro Racing DGAF about Homologation rules, unless someone protests.

There isn't tech inspection in AMA pro motocross.

There's a lot I don't understand about the KTM group racing the exact same bike under three different brand names.

I like the front of it. Side looks kinda broken up . But its hard to see from that angle . It looks a lot more like the Rally bike than I thought it was going to.
