I like the EVS shorty gloves. No binding, no bunching, no palm padding.

Hate wrist clasps!

Most comfortable gloves I ever owned were the shortest lived ones also, 1990 AXO's, looked cool and lasted 3 weekends.

I like my "new" MSR's I got a few years ago, very comfy.

On a side note, my older bro never wore gloves when he raced in the late 70's...felt restricted, blisters etc...
MSR's have been my favorites for a long time. One thing about the MSRs that I can say is they last very well. Probably too heavy/thick for some people, but I like them.

Everyone's hand is different, so different brands fit people differently.

I have piles of Fox gloves( after testing for them) that look like that. I use them to work on cars and for yard work now. I have piles of them. The problem is that in order for them to fit so well and be so comfortable, they fall apart quickly just like their boots. Gloves are disposable kids.

People don't squawk about $80 tire lasting one weekend, but their gloves are expected to last a lifetime.

You could always learn to ride in gardening gloves. Those would last you as long as your last Emig era gloves.

Trick did you put them behind your muffler at all?

Even on hot days I have done this out of habbit and I did that to a brand new pair of troy lee air gloves (gloves I can not ride without) and they blew apart like that to.

Shitty either way, I know I was bummed but figured it was my bad.

Last time I bought Fox gear I had the same problem. Crappy quality.

Never again. They should stick to t-shirts and surf wear. Seems to be their bread and butter these days anyhow.

Lesson I once learned.
Spilled gas on glove+poorly jetted Yz250F with FMF pipe+hand behind muffler to stretch glove=big blue flamming hand.

I have three rides....yes 3... and the seam broke in the index finger and ring finger.

These gloves are Fox Pawtectors.

I'm really pissed because I paid 40 bones for them.

I have three rides....yes 3... and the seam broke in the BOTH the index finger and ring finger. Basically the gloves crapped out after 9 hours of riding. You can see in the pictures the palm of the gloves is barely worn just slightly dirty because they are white.

I owned some Thor gloves for over 10 years and they were bullet proof. I purchased the Thor gloves when Emig was sponsored by them...yes long time ago...and the seams finally busted on them last month. I bought the Fox because I am not into the new Thor designs. Three rides and the Fox gloves crapped out. Insert your own *&^&%$ here.

These gloves are worthless to me. I want to send these POS gloves back to Fox so they can see the quality of their product and give me my money back or at least another pair of gloves.

Anyone have an address I can send them to?

damn thanks for the warning

i had similar luck with thor also now i just go to walmart and buy mechanix brand gloves for like $12 last for a good while too.. heck last time i splurged and got some of these
so far no prob and only $20 so we'll see now long they last....
I've been wearing these also. Mine are over a year old now and don't look that sporty. The only brand I can find now with knuckle and finger protection. They hold up very well, too.

Any fox pants, gloves, or boots that I've owned last 1 ride before stitches start coming loose.
I've got glove hand-me-down program. The only ones that last long enough to make it all the way down the line to get the pleasure of doing yard work is Thor. Just gotta remember which pair I use for cacti next time.

I need to be fair to the gloves and say it may be the stock Suzuki grips I am using causing the blisters. How do you know if your griping too hard? Sort of tough to figure out...

No donuts for me...I have accepted the Yamathumb scar for life.

Another thing to stop getting blisters: Spray your hands in unscented, aerosol anti-perspirent immediately before you put your gloves on for the first time on the day.

Hands that don't sweat don't get wet. Hands that don't get wet don't get soft. Hands that don't get soft don't get nearly as many blisters.

Problem = solved.

And just get grip donuts. They cost like $1 and then you don't ever have to think about your thumb hurting again.
Or you can dump some of this inside them before riding.

Those Oakley's look sweet Nerd! They remind me of the Thor AC gloves from back in 2001. I liked those gloves. I have been having the same issues with my MSR Axxis gloves. 1 pair held up and the other 2 pairs fell appart at the seams.

The best gloves I have ever worn is No Fear. They make a quality/comfortable glove. When I wore them the Formulas and Beta(especially the Betas) were really good gloves. I have heard from a few people they like the new NX gloves made by them as well.

I don't buy Fox gear now for this reason, they are just so cheap now very poor quality. I used to love fox kit but it is just not worth the money now.

I wear Fly now and it lasts really well
