I'm not a grammar expert, I will admit that to the end of the earth. However, I did spend the night at a Holiday Inn Express last night and usually spend 12-16 hours a day working on this website. Laughing

That's a great plan for when you no longer consider yourself a competitor

I'd expect you're right, but he did go to WSX with Kenny though didn't he, wrenching on his Firepower rent-a-bike? Or was that his practice mechanic?

That was his race mechanic from HRC, Jordan Troxell.

Well, Mr. Nichols has played his cards very well it appears. Good for him. Dude could turn some heads if he comes in healthy.

Works well for Honda,
If Chase moves on in 2024, Honda can keep Colt for sx and that will allow Hunter to move up Outdoors 2024. 2025 Honda could choose between the two of them.

Is there any talk of kenny riding different bikes to see what he likes?

Colt Nichols: The Man that slept under the Lucky Star Grinning

This dude has ALWAYS been a cool cat. He's got himself an awesome opportunity with this deal and I hope he CRUSHES IT!

It’s a lot more lopsided than that though with all the sponsor bonuses and bonuses from HRC. Not really an apples to apples comparison.

Firepower Honda on the US side has too many conflicting sponsor deals and they don't have the funding to do Kenny unless he rides for dirt cheap. It's rumored that his Honda re-up offer for 2023 had been dropped to 750k a year.
At first 750k sounds low but without knowing the bonus structure and such might have been a good deal for Kenny.

IDK, Still seems like a bad move. Could end up having too much time off.

Yeah It's highly possible it was a highly incentive based offer...one thing we'll probably never know its what it would have cost Ken to pull out of WSX....my guess it was the $500k plus a number for potential lost revenue if he didn't show...

I figure he would have still been good for a couple wins at $100k a pop, then who knows what his other bonuses are like. It's still not insignificant, considering he hasn't been happy with his bike, in his head or not.

Maybe check your own post before running your mouth about grammar or spelling. You know, glass houses and all.

He deserves a chance like that in the 450 class, his 250 title was no fluke and he was the best guy that year hands down. I was bummed when he literally broke his arms first race.. Hope he makes it through 17 rounds and has some really good weekends!

Wow that’s crazy, I guess I missed the Colt to Honda rumors, and just the other day in a thread I mentioned how I thought he was gonna be “one of the big dogs” in the future, based on his Gypsy interview and how he carriee himself. Then people commented I was nuts and Colt is too old blah blah. I guess Honda saw what I saw. Dudes gonna crush it.
