Looking at weather online it’s suppose to not rain anymore tell around 6.00pm local time
There’s a drizzle right now but there’s gonna be another burst of rain around 9 AM and then it should hold off until 5.

Just checked the live radar for Buchanan. Rain should be letting up after 9AM with a little bit more possible sometime around noon. Fingers crossed though it holds off. If it does maybe the track will still be pretty decent come moto time. Go USA!!!

They did not prep the track for the previewed rain. At MXDN. Come on...
Gotta be kidding.
It will be a mud show

Pics on social seem to show they rolled most of it to seal it off.

The whole thing looks like a speedway track, what did you want them to do, tarp the whole mile around the track?

How was the parking lot getting out for everybody? We left with a couple of minutes to go to try to get ahead of the rush, the parking lot was starting to get really soupy. Our rental car looks like it’s been wheeled.

I don't think they could do a better job of holding the mxon event at tracks where the odds of it raining are the highest possible. Despite the riders and millions of fans wanting an mxon event with good weather on a good track for a change where the world's best can go full tilt, here we are once again looking at rain and mud during another mxon event. RedBud is an awesome track, but we've had so many mud fest mxon events in a row, that they should have held it somewhere with better odds of it NOT RAINING than odds of it raining.
I didn't know this would happen, yet somehow I knew this shit would happen. Oh well. Hopefully it won't be too bad. Mud fest or dry, team USA has gotta get it done. Surely to God they will at least have tire covers on while walking their bikes to the gate. Surely.

Hey man it's good to hear from you. You disappeared. I hope I didn't offend you with something. If I did, I apologize and didn't mean to. What a season for Tomac, huh? Wow. Then it's topped off with the mxon victory. Switching to Star Racing Yamaha worked out beautifully. For him and for Star Racing both.

I'm camping in Lot 4. Raned all night, heavy at times. Supposed to rain off and on all day, according to AccuWeather. If it let's up, I plan to ride up to the track to see if they sealed it or not. Coud be a mudder today!
I gotta question. How the hell did you have cell service there?! Took me until I was miles away from the track

It rained off and on all damn day. So annoying, but the track held up better than in 2018. The leap was do-able for the fastest 450 guys at least, and it only seemed "muddy" for the 1st moto. 2nd and 3rd moto was just deeper dirt with fewer passing opportunities.
