I will be there with a buddy and two teenage sons. We are staying at a VRBO in Buchanan. Does anyone know if there is a shuttle from Buchanan to the track? Went to last Red Bud MXoN and parking was a total shit show.

I'm in! The last Redbud MotoD we had a 5th wheel and were track side camped.
This year a buddy couldn't go and gave me and a friend his camping pass in Lot 4.

So we are putting together last minute plans but looks like I will be going old school out of a tent sure hope it doesn't rain like last time.

This will be my 5th Moto D and I can honestly say there is no better event to attend--can't wait! Woohoo

We were going to camp at Fullers Resort in Buchanan (have a reservation for an RV there Friday and Saturday nights if someone is interested in taking it over). We did that trip in 2018 with the RV, it was awesome doing the camping thing, but, with how far we are traveling we are going to hotel it for Nations and are staying between South Bend and Elkhart. Can drive a lot faster in the minivan!

5 kids in tow, 3 boys will be with me at the race on Saturday and Sunday. Wife and 2 girls doing stuff around South Bend, including going to Amish country, lol.

So this will sound crazy to most people, but Nations is in the middle of a 3 week road trip visiting a lot of family and friends. Our loop is from Nor Cal to Flagstaff, Knoxville TN, Red Bud, New York, Wisconsin, Colorado and then back home. Holy crap, that's well over 6K miles, but my crew are veteran travelers and we routinely will drive 1K miles in one day.

I am squeezing in two business trips as well including going all the way to the friggin tip of Long Island (Montauk) before heading back toward California. My wife and girls are going to watch Wicked when we are in NY. Wicked though was a hard pass for my boys, haha.

An awesome perk of home school was that the kids just started school 3 weeks early and will do some school while we drive (and no, they are not unsocialized or performing behind the public school kids academically!)

As of 2 days ago still some good hotel options towards Elkhart at pretty good prices (used Hotels.com).

Should be fun!

Spending this week an hour from Red Bud and the Track has been getting a healthy dose of watering with rain and downpours the last couple days.

Gary we will be in lot 0, Cruise America rental RV with an American Flag and an Arizona Flag if you want to stop by and say hi! It will be my wife and I, 26 year old daughter and her husband.

And still a little far out to be completely accurate, but the long term weather forecasts are all looking perfect so hopefully those are accurate and we get a sunny awesome weekend!

Lined up a last minute "work trip" to Grand Rapids the week of MXoN. I'm looking to find a spot to tent/ hammock camp Friday & Saturday night. Any possible leads on any open campsites, off site near the track? Slim chance, but worth a shot. TIA

I'll be in Lot 4 probably from Thursday night. We'll be rocking up in a rented F150 Raptor and hopefully have a tent to sleep in by then. We'll also flying plenty of Irish flags.

Yes I did, but that would also require a lot more days away from work and Jan who has been going through Chemo the last 2.5 yrs.

So it's just not the right thing to do unfortunately.....Sad

It was a last minute deal so gonna rough it out--hope it doesn't rain like last time! Woohoo

I rented a small cabin at Fuller’s Resort and Campground. They shuttle us back and forth to the track which is awesome. I did this in 2018 as well.

My nephew and I will be there. Tented it for our first Red Bud National last year and got super lucky with mild weather. Borrowing a friend’s camper this time, Lot 4, praying for reasonable weather. Anyway, probably coming up on 65 to 94 to miss some Chicago traffic and looking for a place to fill up with water close to the track. Not lugging a tank full all the way from MO. Any ideas? Thanks!

All Walmarts have a water outlet to water plants/Tree's. Many RVers use this to fill their water tanks.
If that doesn't make good go to
https://www.krenekrv.com

Thats where we are picking up our RV Rental. (Flying in) Comes loaded with water...ect.
I'm sure they would be happy to make you happy.
Their not far from the Track
Ask for Scott the owner, Bryant the rental dude or Ryan.Wink

For camping at Red Bud, we are coming in a motorhome for Fri/Sat/Sun nights.

I know there are food vendors for Sat/Sun at the track, do they stick around for dinner time food too or are they gone as soon as the races end?

And is there anywhere close to buy things like ice and beer (that does not involve driving the motorhome out of the campsite)?

Wasn't sure if there was a campground store or something like that at the track or very nearby?

Or do we need to just plan on making whatever we bring on Friday last until Monday?

No campground store so bring it in with you. Buchanan and Berrien Springs are only about 5 miles away and both have grocery stores and liquor stores

I’ll be at home playing on my phone and watching social media for the inevitable meltdown and harassment that will be directed at the USA riders after (likely) losing the event. Sad when you think about how much risk they take and the fact that they do this race for free, that most of you will be complaining and insulting them once they lose again

Going for my bachelor trip and rented an Airbnb about 20 minutes away. We all just got GA tickets. In 2018 I took our toy hauler and parked in lot B… was an unreal time but def a mistake with all the mud, randoms in/out, random guy jumped from the roof onto beer pong table, full bills mafia style. Looking forward to next weekend!

Will be in Lot 4 with my white Chevy Express and my brothers Black Transit. Roughing it. Pretty sure I just broke my fib tonight riding pit bikes. Between jobs at the moment too. Hope that doesn’t get in the way of me attending.
