Wokism and cancel culture? Can you expand on that, because honestly you sound like an imbecile. Electric bikes will give us the opportunity to ride in areas we could never get away with riding with internal combustion engines. Is that bad? Do you know what wokism and/or cancel culture mean, or is it just something you heard on the internet and felt cool repeating?

Buying a Stark is just braiding the rope you'll be hung with.
The only new place to ride I care about is the one I'm going to build on my own land. The horse farms that surround me won't say a word because they won't know it's happening. I never even considered firing up a 450 out there. I don't know if it will be the Stark or something else, but there will be an electric bike in my garage parked right next to a gas guzzling 450 and a premix burning 300SX. What's the opposite of canceled?

Opposite of canceled in this context? Enabled maybe? Aka more riding enabled. More potential areas and tracks is very obvious. I guess those living in the absolute middle of nowhere will not notice a difference, but a lot of us others will.

And like you said - Not sure where it became Electric vs Gas? As far as motocross is concerned we will be fine for a while with both. Who knows how the future will go. Hell, i hope we are still in a position to even think about riding bikes for fun two decades from now.

To those that mentioned being anti the Stark VARG due to how the CEO / Founder chooses to dress... well, okay. Strong point there...Let me guess, if he had his ears tucked into a Rockstar Energy hat it would be equally upsetting? Straw hat and Levis or nothing.

btw, mr Wass is a great guy who has accomplished an absolute shit ton in business at a very young age. And choses to keep investing in Moto. Such a horrible thought! Get out of here with all that money and all those new industry jobs!

Does this embargo mean we will just get Stark PR sheet and some riding photos until June?

Well damn. I'm assuming to let different media outlets all get their reviews in order since its spread out over a week or so? Do they only have a handful of bikes to be tested?

Just got an email from them… Over promised on delivery dates

“ Due to the current situation in Europe we will be postponing the delivery dates of the Stark VARG for orders originally scheduled for delivery between September and January by one to three months. In the coming days an updated delivery date will be shown on the order confirmation page of the Stark Future website for those affected. Stark Future is working hard to keep the delivery delays as minimal as possible.”
Any news, anyone?
Things seem to be running really late...

Well if the original orders started showing up this month, they’d be right on time with the original time frame. So I’m not sure if it’s fair to say they’re running really late.

But in the email you quoted says that there will now be a 1-3 month delay so earliest would be this October, latest could be March for original orders.

Do you think they have more than 20 assembled? 100? Would love to see a warehouse full of boxes ready to ship in a month or two. What about the dealer network? Have they been told when to expect the first big shipment?

My buddy ordered one. Just was talking to him about it today. I asked if there was any update and he said his is still expected in early March.

Still, after all that buzz, the silence is deafening.

I just caught a rumor that things are moving really slowly due to components availability not getting any better, we'll see if that's "unfair" or not...

I preordered one but I changed my mind. Here in comifornia with these power outrages and rolling blackouts , Half of the time won’t be possible to charge the bike and go riding, so fuck that. 🙁

If any bikes show up this year it will be a miracle. Stark factory is in Spain, which means that raw materials come from Russia, finished materials from Germany or other eastern EU nations and we all know how that situation is playing out. I hope that Stark was ahead of that curve and can pull off initial production numbers, but it ain't gonna be easy and just based on their higher utility costs alone, they will not be hitting financial targets. Talk about bad timing.

You don’t understand. At this moment it makes no sense to say they are running really late. It’s unfair to say they are running behind at this moment in time because they are still within the window they’ve provided for delivery.

You have to miss your targeted date to be considered late, let alone really late.

if there is going to be more delay, they should have notified buyers well before now.

The earliest deliveries were to be late September which have been moved, delayed or however one want's to spell it to late December. Stark was upfront about the delay a month or 2 ago having read the handwriting on the wall.
December still seems a pretty tough ask given what's transpired in the EU lately, never mind crating, shipping, clearing customs & so on.
There's also likely thousands of pre-order customers that would like to see some real world feedback from print / online media testing the machine here in USA in less controlled conditions than in the media launch before they pony up the remaining balance prior to taking delivery.
Seems to me that it would very much be in Starks interest to get a handful of bikes stateside asap before they start sending 12 thousand dollar invoices out.

If you follow Stark on Social Media, you can see their progress. I would not be surprised if the first bikes on US soil will be in Q1 of 2023.

You don't understand. I hear being out of the window they've provided is well on its way. Don't know if it's true or not, that's why I'm asking if anybody's got some news.
