Sounds like that "B League" kid has already signed a MX2 factory ride and will be back for MXON and he showed he is going to run with the best of them.

Question. Since he was B class this year, does this mean he races a couple events as a pro but then drops back down to AM's to race A class for 2023? A bit silly to me but I guess that's our AM system...

Sounds like he will race the last 2 Pro races and then drop down to A class for the winter and go Pro for MX 2023.

He could if he didn’t score too many points, but I don’t think that’s their plan.

Huh? Can you translate this? Pretty early to be drinking isn't it?

If he surpasses the threshold in the last two rounds, is it straight to '23 SX? Will he wait at the finish line to ensure this doesn't happen?

I think he will do well. He rides with the other Star guys or has rode on the same tracks and has a pretty good idea where he is speed and endurance wise. I guess it depends on what he/Star are expecting . Are they having him go out and race since they do not have all their riders out there and have not been doing much in the 250 class this outdoor season until recently. And just go out to get some Pro races under his belt and bring some more attention to Star and Yamaha. Or maybe his lap times are good enough that they think he is ready to go out and get some good results ( meaning the good lap times and he is able to run them for a 30+2) . If we knew what they were thinking or wanting from getting him out there it would be easier to geuss . I would say a holeshot or good start in the first moto, I think he will do well under the pressure since he has always had the extra pressure on him with his name and all the drama that is around him. His Dad has been at the upper levels of racing and he has been around the upper levels of racing in some form since he was a little kid. I think that he probable feels like this is where he belongs and what he has been working towards so he could surprise people. I was at RV's first pro race, Dungey's , Austin Stroupes, Josh hill's Phil Nicoletti's and it seems like the better riders had a plan. A lot of the guys that ended up having great careers started out with some steady results that were just inside the points and then got better each race after for the few races they did in the end of the season after LL's. The guys that started out outdoors as fulltime guys seemed to put some better results in right away. Josh grant, Barcia, Tomac are afew. I'm excited that the season keeps getting better with more to look forward to each round , instead of how it often ends with riders dropping out from injury and becoming predicable. It sucks that Mav+ and now Flo have been such a disaster , one of the best seasons I can remember as far as racing and the people calling the races, everything but the app and TV coverage have been great, and I wonder if it could have helped bring more fans in to watch if the coverage had been easier to watch. I'm a diehard fan and I've even got tired of the struggle to get the stream going sometimes. I really hope that they do return to Peacock next year like they are saying. It would be awesome if we could get Tomac and Hearlings to do some rounds. I hope Tomac changes his mind and decides to come back and do the nationals again next year.

I’m more curious about his pace than his finishing order. I’m guessing 3+ seconds a lap slower than The moto winner

Believe the HYPE part deux!
Alessi was mostly unbeatable from 50s on up. Deegan has been since what, 85s? He's certainly fast but the hype is unwarranted. Without pulling up the results I think Marchbanks was more dominant as an amateur and nobody cared when he went pro. Followers don't equals wins.

Who's not allowing him to enjoy his first pro race? I haven't seen or heard of anyone doing that.

No, they have no plans to do SX no matter how many points he scores. From what everyone is saying MX23 is the plan as long as there are no injuries.

I think it will be a holeshot.

And then a solid first Moto with a low scoring second Moto.

6-19
Easy way out...I say top 5 both Motos.

You're probably not wrong...because of bunch of those dudes should be in MX2 so that they could have full gates every round instead of half full ones.
