Stew was awesome, I really hope he comes back for more. His insight was incredible, talked about things us diehards can relate to instead of the bullshit they often do during supercross trying to appeal to someone tuning in for the first time. If I only had one thing to criticize it's that he kinda sounded a bit monotone but hell this was his first time commenting a race and overall I'd give him an A.

Let's not forget...just a year ago this dude was a ghost and we've all been begging him to come back to the sport for years in some capacity. Now he's doing podcasts and just did commentary for a pro national, I couldn't be happier.

Ditch the neck burn crap js
x2

and the Dungey/coffee comments were funny the first 5 times.

it was funny when he talked about Bloss racing with him in 2016.

he did really offer some great insight into setup and strategy
and I hope he can be added into the rotation for a couple rounds next year.

James was casually dropping some great knowledge. He did an awesome job. More, please.

The “boy move!” In regards to Sexton passing Anderson in second moto was hilarious. He did great. The “racing backwards instead of forwards” was good. Really enjoyed him in the booth.

James is the best ex racer in the booth since Bailey!

James did an amazing job today and hearing him analyze everything reminded me of David Bailey. Really solid job, I wonder how Weigandt thinks of the whole day

James was a revelation today. Great, in-depth knowledge of the track and professional insights like we get with RC, but 1000x better on the delivery. I loved his pet names for all the riders, too:
-Jo "Far East" Shimoda
-Ryan "Coffee Man" Dungey
-Ken "German Chocolate" Roczen.

James seems like he can speak to whatever is happening on the track without any hesitation. For instance, when Weege was talking about chocolate cake in the first 250 moto, James mentioned chocolate mousse. "It's still chocolate, but it's not the same." Grinning I like it.

Agreed this sport is better with JS7 in it - in any form or any way.

As said his knowledge and vision of the race is great. Needs to polish the vocabulary and pronunciation, ease off on the repeated lines. Overall solid. I want the announcers to be as excited as fans. Not trying to be cool.

He is so good at explaining exactly where and how a pass is going to happen.

The flustrations were a little RCish, but overall I thought it was a home run. Quick with a thought and well delivered.

The thing is. He had really good insight. Talents like him sometimes are just like twist the throttle harder. I feel like his analysis wasn’t really around when he raced so we didn’t know how he was actually breaking things down

We could have heard “off to the races” or “on the gas”. First time in the booth, he nailed it. Like you said his knowledge is great. Pretty cool hearing his insight. It would be awesome to get him in there again. Could you imagine him with RC or Emig? I’d love to be a fly on the wall hearing them talking about racing.

Finally a moto commentary that felt normal and moto.
He's core. Thanks James. And that was his first time? Awesome. Wish we could get more of him.
Rotation of former racers is great. Ditch the so called " professional " blabbers.

He was very good. He actually can explain what happens to the riders and bikes. He really sees the tactics and movements in another way compared to 'get a good start, hit your marks'.

He is the best so far. Way above RC.

Best part was when the camera was shaking and searching for the action... James said something like," did Hunter get off the track again?"

James was very easy to listen to and also really interesting. Great insight from a past champ as well as not running over the racing with never ending rambling like some guys are prone to. Bring him back every week!

I enjoyed James in the booth. Everyone picking apart every single word that he misspoke is no friend of mine. Dude is one of the GOAT’s at racing and isn’t trying to be a professional broadcaster but rather just add some entertainment and rider insight to the broadcast.

Also if you’re making fun of his vernacular and slang, it says more about you than him in my opinion.

James has a very natural flow with his commentary and I absolutely loved his common man vernacular and on the spot nicknames. It made following the race very enjoyable!

Too monotone, he was putting me to sleep. He’d be perfect for golf though!

Better that than yelling "OOhhh" & "Wwooohhh" everytime something happens which adds nothing and is extremely annoying!

Weege is awesome! No matter who they put in the booth with him he makes it work seamlessly as he brings out the best in everyone.

James Stewart has been my favorite so far. Genuine. Real. Himself. Literally the opposite of RC.
