Watched the entire 08 series where j law beat dungey.... really weird to watch, dungey was crashing his brains out at every round!..... lol.. made it pretty easy for j law..... maybe that loss turned Ryan into the diesel, because he rarely crashed after that series....

At this point... j law is pure legend.... dude could sell a Lot of product.... absolitely amazed he isn't a brand ambassador for someone... whether he ever puts another wheel on the track for not....

Remember, he stiffed his mechanic with a rental car bill after he wrecked it.

Who is his former mechanic that posts on here?

He lives at a really gnarly track in florida. Has a new gas gas sitting there. The guy can do 20 minute motos at a good pace and definitely has the speed to log a top 15 qualifying time.

I think it triggers some on vital that J can basically show up anytime he wants and Lilly gag his way into the fast 40

How many times has he done that exactly?
Well... none, but he can.

Read through the thread. It's obvious which poster. It's not my place to call him out by name.

He won't need a number since he won't show up for anything. Somehow fanboys keep eating this garbage up year after year.

There's nothing more fun than piling on a guy who achieved way more than you, but then threw it away.

Wonder why that is...

Gypsy Tales. People actually listen to that clownshow? I listened to him once for about 2 minutes and that was 2 minutes too long.

In that two minutes he probably mentioned how he does Jiu Jitsu 2-3 times
Everybody who trains Jiujitsu does, it’s a cultural similar motocross. Guys can’t really explain why they love and watch moto so much, Jitz is the same way. I can go to a tournament and watch solid guys roll all day, same feeling.

Trust me when I say this, legit Jitz training is every bit as hard as motocross, your entire body is spent after a training session.

I never understood this mentality, he was fast on a motorcycle so you can’t say anything bad about him, bullshit. I knew a lot of guys who were fast, but horrible people.

He won a title, so he had success in one aspect of his life, while the rest of his life burned to the ground, is that really achievement?

They’re dudes in here that bust their ass 40-60 hours a week, raise kids and find time to ride, that’s a much bigger achievement than some west coast title.

Moto comunity is such a toxic place, he was fast, he won a championship, he had a drug and mental problem and probably couldnt get the help he needed, everyone struggles with their own shit.
Just apprecciate him for what he is and enjoy the time he had on top, nothing is going to change that.
He's like James Hunt, one and done and you dont see people shitting on Hunt's carreer choices, would i like to see Jlaw ride again? yes. Do i expect him to win a title again, no. Maybe it would be nice to see him out there like Hanny and Bereman style of free ride.

You can not compare a f1 title to a regional sx title

And he didn’t just walk after that. He raced for another couple of years , and never won another race ,

One of the biggest wasted talents the sport has ever seen ,

If he was going to race anywhere don’t you think he’d at least post some footage of him training? Where is it? I doubt he owns a bike or has the money to put gas in one, sadly.

Each to their own, but I’d rather a west coast title than work 40-60 hours a week..
people that throw away opportunity would do it in any other aspect of their life too. At least he achieved something awesome before throwing it away.

#spotted this sign at Budds Creek.

Ironically it was on the gate by the stock car track, which used to have the nighttime SX track on the infield. This was the site where one year JLaw famously pulled off mid moto and went to skim the whoops a few times before rejoining the moto.

Arguably one of the strangest moments in moto history.

I was very confused when I came across JLaw's Instagram story this morning. He knows the season is over right?

9/12/2022 8:44am
He’s pointing out he said there was a small chance, he never confirmed anything like some people were saying.
