Guess not much has changed, eh? Laughing

https://youtu.be/U8OU81oEKUk

I can feel my IQ drop 5 points any time I listen to Blubba making unintelligible noises, so.....I don't.

For further entertainment, watch "Bubba Stewart crashes" videos on u-boob..........there's at least a page of them Laughing

The great thing about all these many different podcasts is they are like ice cream, you can try it, if you don't like it, try another flavour.

I’m sure you would do so much better. Let’s see, you do a podcast episode and we, the vital community will judge your episode, and see how cringey you are. Whistling

I was hesitant to listen it, but Im hooked!

I love it!!! He said he used to no talk at all and was so serious about racing and now he is talking!! we should listen! haha and seems like he is having a good time while at it.

I have a good laugh every time, and the one with jeremy was pretty good, the anecdotes were great.

I heard a theory that says funny people usually are smart ´cause the fast thinking and such... and the bitter people don´t like funny people because they are dumb and jelaous because they are not like that hahaha

His podcast has all the ingredients, good insight, funny, creative (the nicknames) and of course

SUN TAN, NECKS ON FIRE
NECK-BURN! Grinning

I'm 59 years old...so, I'm an old dude...

And I think his pod-cast and his approach to discussing racing is fun & pretty damn hilarious. I truly enjoy hearing his perspective on things and the mindset of riders at the top of the game. Then there's his his observations on the various riders...from Jason' s speed and style to Ryan coming back & still having "it" to Chase hauling ass and especially his brutal honesty about his own brother.

Furthermore, his "play with words" and things like NECK-BURN! are totally hilarious and VERY "JS7".

If ya don't get it, the comedy of a lot if it, the truly fun look at our sport? Well, then, it might not be the podcast for you.

Besides, "What if you're wrong?" Grinning

About his "weird tangents"...there's a lot of gold in those "off the cuff" stories & changes of direction. Furthermore, in some of the explanations of these complaints, I see a likelihood that some folks aren't able to keep up with how fast he talks & changes direction.

OP, I don't think there was any malicious intent in your post, so I don't think you deserve any flaming. But I will say that maybe you are expecting a produced/finished product where you maybe shouldn't be. The show is more like the same vibe as buddies benchracing. He's just giving his thoughts, it's not like a real "show." And keep in mind most high profile riders (and maybe athletes in general) grew up in a different social environment than most others. So it is what it is. I think the majority of the fanbase is just excited to see JS again, get some content and hear his thoughts. Even if not the most polished product, his takes are great. They are as good as anyone, in my opinion. So there is a lot to like, in my opinion. To each their own though.

Go listen to ANY podcasts at the very beginning. Just about every show starts off with major cringe moments but after a while, a good podcaster will find their groove. I believe James is finding that groove and is getting better and better with each episode. His style of podcasting doesn’t need a guest. His rants and his opinions is what makes the show unique. James Stewart is a fucking legend and retarded posts like this could only push him further away.

I listen to his podcast every week and enjoy it. I regularly quote the "suntan, neck's on fire" line.

I get what the OP is saying and have noticed those things too. I don't dislike the podcast because of it, but that doesn't mean someone else isn't allowed to. So many people get on here and tell the guy to shove it and not voice his opinion because it's negative and "he doesn't have to listen to the podcast". But couldn't one also say that you all aren't being forced to read his rant? Don't like his opinion? Don't read it and spend time replying to it then. It's a never ending cycle of pretentious people telling other people that their opinion shouldn't be shared because it's not in line with what they think.

The guy wasn't saying James' podcast has no worth and that it should be ended. He was just sharing why he has a hard time listening to it, and honestly nothing he said was objectively wrong. Don't know how that translates to "forcing James back into hiding" because of one negative opinion on Vital.

So, I've been trying to listen to the podcasts that James has been putting out and I just can't listen without cringing. The dude was probably the best to ever throw a leg over a bike, but listening to him is painful and almost embarrassing. His analysis is pretty good, but he gets going on these weird tangents and it's gets really awkward. I know he is a dirt biker and not an English teacher but good god. Saying things like "one lineded" is terrible. The lastest one (Washougal rewind) he goes on this little tangent about going to the far east to get west, rambling on and on about Shimoda and the Lawrence bros. It just doesn't make sense and is hard to listen to. I know no one is forcing me to listen, and I'll probably catch flack for making this post, but I cant possibly be the only one who notices this stuff. James would be well served to have a co-host that does the majority of the talking and have James do the stuff he is good at (insight, analysis, etc.)
Dude I love listening to Stew! He’s analysis is amazing and gives you insight to stuff you never would have realised if you didn’t hear him say it. People always complained that Stew disappeared after he quit racing and I think it’s awesome he’s back showing us his passion for the sport that made him who he is! We should be grateful he is back and being his funny self cracking jokes and stuff. Do you never stuff up words or say things wrong come on man your just picking on something for the sake of it. Be happy we have the legend sharing his thoughts!

Some are better than others but I LOVE the facts we can hear from James. And both episodes with J-Bone and the one with DC are just gold. Thank you James for that !

OMG James you're so cringy, I hate your podcast and you being yourself...lol Pound sand.

What compelled you to create a post just to air your dumb ass condescending opinion. You can have a thought, and not post it on Vital ya know...

That neck was on fire people !!
This is that absolutely most raw and core content ever
Every show gives insight and indepth observation about what is actually going on from the racers view point.
You have to actually listen and think about what he is saying

The dude is homeschooled in the dumbest state of the country, what do you expect, a calculus lesson?

Ive noticed when Roger is on, stew seems more focused and not all over the place.

Hit it Cole

Since he was homeschooled, then his parents educated him, not the state, so why does it matter where he is from? Are you trying to say that James' parents are/were poor educators?

Also Florida is not the dumbest state, feel free to site ANY source that would confirm that.

The OP's opinion obviously isn't popular by the downvotes he has gotten. I have to say that I feel the same way. I have tried to listen to a few of his podcasts, but for some reason I don't like them. So like people say, "Well, don't listen then", so that is what I am doing.

Uh yeah that’s what I’m saying. Most moto kids, especially at that level aren't getting the most out of homeschooling… Okay maybe Florida is tied with Texas 😂.

haha yeah that was hilarious...

For me it said in spanish "el vino ya esta listo" "the wine is ready"

Imagine a shirt of him crossing the finish line, fire behind and the now iconic frase "sun tan, neck´s on fire"

My guess is that you find a lot things being said and done by anyone under 30 YO Cringe worthy. That says way more about you than it does them.

His analysis of on-track stuff is off the charts. He's dead on for almost every analysis he dives into - especially the shit he says is going on the rider's heads and how that translates into what happens on the track. I can eat that up all day long. Epic stuff and as everyone has already told you, if you don't like his style, I'm sure there's a vlogger out there being ultra-precise in terms of language and demeanor. you should probably go find that vlogger and settle in.

I love Stew's podcasts. I find him hilarious and he has an insight into a racer's mind that very few others do, coming
from an elevated place in the sport. Frigging love it.

I actually though about making a thread about James saying how much I enjoy listening to him. While that is the opposite of what this thread is about, I do very much enjoy listening to his insights and he has so much knowledge to share. I love listening to him talking about the bike setups and what he sees. And I noticed someone said he's homeschooled and whatnot, but guess what, he ain't talking about math. He has been to the best school you could go to for what he is doing, keep it going Mr. Stewart!

I think there’s sort of a discussion to be had here about Bubba’s inkling for attention. From the worm, to the pink gear, to the lights on top of his Tundra. Now with a podcast on YouTube. It makes you wonder if his desire and the work he put in to be so good on a motorcycle was all driven at its core from a desire for attention
