I wish these riders would stop using the word retirement to say they are stepping away from racing. Retirement suggests there is at least some level of finality to the act, when we see the majority of these guys resume competing again at some point down the road. Troll will probably end up on a 250 in WSX.

Interesting. A Mart admitted that he is too small for a 450 but wanted to give it a try but also at the same time admitted that riding the 450 is why he is retiring. Seems like he could just keep racing a 250 in the 450 class. Guessing that his results would be nearly the same but with more comfort of not getting yanked around by a 450. 5’4” 140# forced to move up…
