The only power we "pee-ons" have is to hold a mass exodus from the service. Otherwise...you are spot on. They're laughing while running to the bank.

Cancelled. What a shame. Haven't missed a race in years but YouTube recaps will have to do.

I can only speak from my experience but I’ve watched all eleven motos that MavTV has aired pretty much without issue (albeit having to watch through their YouTube stream the first week).

Again, I can only speak from my experience and I’m sure mine differs from others but I personally have no reason to cancel as it seems to work quite well for what I need it for.

I have a Roku account, which offers MavTV+ for free. Yet, every time I try to watch it, the message I get is "subscription required." Do I have to subscribe to MavTV+, even though I get MavTV+ already?

Forget it. I'm just going to watch illegal streams on YouTube. Normally, I'm all about supporting the sport's sponsors, but Fuck MavTV.

I have Roku too. Didn’t know it was supposed to be free?

Truth...I did not read this whole thread because it is a bunch of righteously outraged folks venting over not getting to see the races. I attended all three and am riding a high that I dont want to end.

This weekend I'll have to watch from home. I'd like advice on whoever has had decent success watching so far. How/what did you do that was different than the angry folks?

The MavTV+ channel on Roku is free. ...but to watch these races, you need to buy the subscription.

Read up before committing to subbing. As you can see, it isn't going well.

I am literally in front of my TV now ( with Roku) trying to follow the step by step instructions that they are giving me in order to cancel. And I have zero access to do it. I can’t even do step 1. 😡

Mavtvplus.com on desktop browser has worked well for me. Zero problems this past weekend finally.

I ditched my DirecTV in May and now I'm on Hulu+ which is $70 a month. I added MavTV for $6.99 a month and will cancel that after the last National in August.

You don't get practice, but they show the motos live and Hulu+ has unlimited cloud-based DVR as well.

Have had zero issues with that set-up

I have directv.... have seen every minute of every race live with no issues... thats not to say that cornhole won't run long and cause an issue later in the season.... or there might be a big rainstorm that blocks reception..... but so far, so good for mav and nbc races on directv...

Well dang it. I got rid of Direct/Dish when the bills started bumping $300. Never had a problem with either except for the cost.

I had buffering issues watching on desktop, same as on Roku/TV. ...and it was not an issue with my internet speed as I was having no issues with any other site....and ran a speedtest to verify.

We have Roku too. The only thing free is MavTV "Select," which unfortunately does not get you the MX races (at least those taking place this year). I signed up for MavTV "Plus" through the Roku. No problems the first two weeks (except the ads). For Thunder Mountain, it kept buffering and reverting to something less than 720P when I tried to watch live practice. It finally worked out after about 15 minutes.

I usually time-shift to watch the races since I'm usually busy Sat afternoons. Plus I hate wasting time watching commercials. I'm OK if they're on Sunday and I can FF through the ads. Just need to stay off the interwebs for a day.

I don't mind paying, at all. But can someone explain why they can't post the replay immediately after the race? Some of us work on Saturdays and even if I didn't, I wouldn't be sitting around watching TV all day. Like many others, I stay off of social media and look forward to watching the races on Saturday night. Please fix this.

I have been streaming MAVTV+ from iPhone to Chromecast.

Pala was a disaster. The stream continuously dropped, and the live feed of the race wigged several times on the app.

Hangtown was better, but stream again disconnected a time or 3 or 5, then nuked in the last 450 moto.

3 motos last week were better, although practice was a shit show. Hoping the improvement wasn’t due to any NBC IT used for moto 1 on NBC.

PS You lucky sumbeech!

I'll probably go your route...and bitch and moan. After talking to DC after Hangtown...he said Mav had a massive hacking attempt all day....who knows?

Your experience sounds like mine to a tee. Exactly the way my races went.

I'm not sure about the replays. I watched each race live with links that MavTV posted on their website.

I ended up watching Pala and Hangtown on the MavTV.com website, then NBC for the first 450 moto last weekend and Youtube for the rest of the race. I'll take my chances with online this weekend as well. I'll be less upset if I don't get to see the race that way. Unsure

I've heard of potential talks that MavTV plus might merge with Floracing, who does tons of dirt track racing. Just speculation but there has been some crossover stuff happening recently. Flo is great btw
